Today’s house tour is this fabulous bright Barcelona apartment…how amazing would it be to just steal away for a few months to this lofty apartment?? Interior designer Marta Castellano-Mas and architect Serrat-Tort came up with this design to really blend the old and new worlds effortlessly and I think they succeeded here don’t you?
The bright white brick walls and columns and arched windows…all speak to another time period. Add in some more contemporary elements like the linen wrapped chandeliers, grey linen sofa, wooden farm table, and the most adorable sun room…the end result is something wonderful…I absolutely love the herringbone floors in the kitchen and throughout the living and dining spaces (remember this apartment tour of herringbone floors)…the rich color palette here is really well executed too, mustard yellows, deep blacks, charcoal grey, taupe brown…together they create this beautiful organic feel against the white brick walls and exposed beams above…really ready for an adventure…I wonder if the owner of this apartment would consider a house swap for the summer??
The sun room might be my second favorite detail in this apartment…it’s so different against all of the white I really love it!
Let’s talk about this swing for a second…such a dreamy reading nook…

Sign me up! Somehow Barcelona has been all over my news feeds, friends’ travels, whatever. I think that is a sign I need to go there. Gorgeous apartment,
Are those swings really comfortable? I’m curious.
That place is gorgeous. I think the kitchen with that arched window and those herringbone floors would be my favorite spot.
I absolutely love every room in this post! So bright and beautiful.
Really like the white/grey herringbone floor in the kitchen… Never seen anything like that before.
