travel Back to reality!
I just returned home from a much-needed weekend getaway celebrating my sister DS’s birthday with her and her friend MC! It was incredible… massages, facials, pool time, tacos, margaritas, whale watching, an art walk in San Jose, lovely dinners, and most importantly, lots of laughs! Just what the doctor ordered!
This was my third or fourth trip to Las Ventanas in Los Cabos, Mexico over the last 12 years… my sis and I have fallen in love with it! From the great service, stunning setting right on the Baja peninsula, and beautiful decor — I was in heaven!

fashion Should every girl have a go-to jean jacket? Is that a rhetorical question?
As I shared with you in a prior post, my friend A.Ro recently suggested I dress down my fancy black Chloe dress with a jean jacket — and after scrambling through my closet, I realized I don’t own a proper one!
As I expand my collection of denim, here’s a variety of pieces I’ve found that could work for almost any occasion or time of day. From vests, different colors, cuts, and washes… it’s important to have options! Happy shopping!
home Stressful times call for a soothing bath. When it comes to home design, I adore freestanding bathtubs. As a rule, I always try to section out time during my busy day to practice self-care — whatever that looks like depending on my schedule. I am NOT a bath girl, but the other day I was inspired to run a warm bath… only to find out that I don’t have a stopper in my bathtub! That should show you how rare it is for me to take a relaxing soak! Note to self (and my Amazon account): purchase a bathtub stopper!
Anyway, I recently visited a home remodel site with a friend of mine and there was an old tub. I adore freestanding bathtubs in new construction. It was a cast iron clawfoot tub. After asking my Instagram followers whether or not the freestanding tub should be salvaged or ditched, most said to keep it!
I think that’s spot on… there’s something so romantic, soothing, and comforting about a good old fashioned (and good looking!) stand-out stand-alone tub.
I’ve gathered some of my favorite freestanding tubs for inspiration (below)!

interiors Happy March!
Wow, I cannot believe I just said that! The beginning of this year is just flying by. I hope you all are having a wonderful start to 2018!
To start off the spring, I’ve been thinking about how to incorporate metal bed frames in various ways — so I’ve collected some of my favorites for inspiration!

fashion Spring showers bring… the need for waterproof fashion and cozy interiors!
Ok, ok, I know we don’t get a ton of rain here in Southern California, but we do have days where I need to throw on a light rain jacket and a pair of boots — if I leave the house, that is! With a reading nook like the one pictured (above), I don’t know if I ever would…

interiors Almost annually, I find myself writing a post on blankets. I love throw blankets. This year I am obsessing over a dark grey chunky knit throw that was custom made for me by my knitter. If you don’t know by now, I manufacture and sell decorative throw blankets that have become quite popular over the years.
The COCOCOZY navy throw has become a staple in thousands of homes around the country by now. I once did super popular post on how to throw a COCOCOZY throw blanket. My throws are 100% cotton, patterned and super soft.
