The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and here are 20 of my current spring obsessions. I noticed that I have been talking about a lot of things I’m loving this season with my girlfriends. There are tons of cool new trends like bold colored blazers and colorful drinkware. So I figured I should gather my latest obsessions and share them with all of you.
I recently went out to dinner with an old friend. She works for one of the coolest streetwear companies, Homme + Femme. She surprised me with a few hoodies and sweatpants. I will probably be living in them for the rest of spring. Definitely a brand you should check out if you’re looking to upgrade your streetwear.
Anyhoo….check out my list of 20 things I am loving for spring below! 🙂

A galley kitchen is one of the most functional layouts in a home. It’s easy to get around due to the open aisle down the center. This particular kitchen has been in my archives for a while. Interior designer, Jane Gowers, remodeled her charming London home. One design element that I love is the doors that allow direct access to the terrace. It’s great for entertaining guests. It lightens up the green hues, which gives it a charming atmosphere.

There’s nothing better than ending a workweek with a weekend getaway. I’m planning a few new trips. I recently escaped to Palm Springs, New Orleans, and New York City. Now I have the travel bug and can’t wait to travel even more. The great thing about a weekend getaway is that it’s short enough to enjoy and easy to adjust back to reality when you return. So while you start browsing for new places to visit, here are some of my weekend getaway essentials.
Spring is here, which means it’s officially wedding season. It’s time to start thinking about dressing for your next formal occasion. My COCOCOZY team has rounded up their favorite dresses, shoes, and accessories to help you dress your best. It includes sophisticated gowns and chic silhouettes. Shopping for a wedding comes down to three things: location, dress code, and your own style. There are an endless amount of options to wear, which makes shopping overwhelming. Luckily, my team loves the planning, the details, the outfits, and all the fun that comes with weddings. We’ve put together a list of his & her looks below.
While we are in the process of spring cleaning, another space that we should all keep in mind is the pantry. During an Instagram deep dive, I found this luxurious pantry designed by Mccrosky Interiors. I think we can all agree this is every homeowner’s dream– a large pantry that is organized to perfection and stocked full of our favorite snacks. Pantry organization is pretty much one of the most important areas in your kitchen. Because, let’s face it, we all love food, and food is one of the things we can’t live without! So with that being said, here are some kitchen pantry essentials that will help get you through the spring and summer seasons.
The combination of California living and Spanish revival makes for an inspiring duo. Fashion entrepreneur and social media mogul, Aimee Song, let the world tour the inside of her new home. She teamed up with interior designer and architect, designer Antonio Forteleoni. Aimee and her longtime boyfriend, Jacopo Moschin, wanted to incorporate both of their backgrounds into the styling of the home. The couple just welcomed their first child so they wanted European and Asian elements to represent their growing family.
The living room (shown above) is my favorite room from their home. It’s simply beautiful with beamed ceilings and warm light that floods the room. I love that Aimee added vintage items like the Camaleonda Sofa couch. That sofa has been seen in many celebrity interior designer homes.
This white kitchen isn’t just any normal white kitchen. It’s my friends, Anne and John’s, kitchen in Manhattan. I had the chance to stay over at their brand new apartment. It’s beautifully designed with neutral color palettes and modern decor. There’s even a hint of COCOCOZY in the kitchen. 🙂
The apartment is flooded with natural light. The white walls and wood floors make the apartment look clean and modern. The best part is the view of Manhattan. I’m not sure how Anne and John can get used to the views.
Is pink the new gray in interior design? Back in June, I did a post about pink interiors. Now it’s March and I’m seeing a rise of pink hues on my Instagram feed. It’s not everyone’s go-to color when decorating their home. However, pink can transform a space in various ways. Use lighter hues for a more elegant and chic look. If you want something rich and sophisticated, then go for a deep pink/reddish hue.
The room above was designed by my friends @bexmarie + @raskindphoto of Renouveau Hom. They renovated a Spanish-style home in Leimert Park. The home is full of life with vibrant patterns and colors. It’s a fun home to explore because it’s unlike anything you’ve seen in Los Angeles. The house feels playful and whimsical without being overwhelming. The pink bathroom is one of my favorite rooms in the house. The combination of different pink tones and rose gold fixtures makes for the perfect bathroom design.
You already know by now that I’m not a shopper. I consider myself more of a browser. I’ll add things to my cart, then come back to it days (or weeks) later. And I know it’s spring (which I’m so happy about), but I’m currently shopping for new pieces that will carry over into summer. I need transitional staples for the warmer seasons that I can style for different occasions. Luckily, since I live in California, it’s always a good idea to stock up on staples for spring/summer weather.
That brings me to today’s blog post. There are so many trends making a resurgence. I want to share classic staples from pants to stylish dresses. Here are a few transitional staples (and a few trending items) that I’m liking for spring.
The best thing about living in California is the year-round weather. My outdoor patio is my go-to play to relax and unwind after a long day of work. My team on the east coast is always complaining about their extreme weather changes. Luckily, I don’t have that issue. I’m happy to be a California girl that gets to enjoy the sunshine all year long.
A big thanks to Outer for helping me give my patio a makeover last year. I’m in love with their armchairs which have an awesome self covering feature to help protect the outdoor pillows. The furniture looks amazing and it’s raccoon resistant (see this video if you don’t know what I’m talking about LOL). I haven’t seen the raccoon since. Anyhoo…you can get 25% off from Outer with my code: OUTERCOCO! And save an extra 7.5% from Outer with Chirpyest.
People underestimate the power of a nook. I always loved touring old chateaus and estates that have a cozy nook in bedrooms and in libraries. So when I see them utilized in modern designs I get inspired. Creating a cozy nook allows for a room to be more functional. It opens up space for endless design possibilities. Design a beautiful window seat for lounging and reading during the day. Or transform a blank wall into a nook with shelves to put your books on display.
Last week, I traveled all the way to the east coast. It was a nice change of pace. There’s nothing like the hustle of New York City. It was a quick trip so I wasn’t able to do everything I wanted to. I was only there for about 24 hours. It was great to catch up with friends that live in the city. My friends’, John and Anne, were kind enough to let me stay at their new modern apartment.
There’s nothing that feels more like spring than a table full of fresh flowers, earthy tones, and linen fabrics beautifully arranged on an outdoor table. The perk of having my own courtyard is being able to throw lavish spring dinner parties. And an added bonus is the great weather in California. I love sitting down and brainstorming table concepts and ideas. If you’re feeling ready to start hosting again then this guide of spring table decor is for you. I’ve gathered everything from tablecloths to serveware to help you throw the perfect spring dinner party at your home.
When it comes to renovating your home, do you rationalize the expensive items to furnish and decorate? I’ve always planned ahead when starting a project. Where in your home is it okay to splurge? And what items are an absolute no, once you hit a certain price? Is overpriced bedding justified or can you find an equally comfortable option for half the price? Luckily there are a lot of great dupes out there that can give you that luxury looks without breaking the bank. From decor to furniture and everything in between, I’m showing you some luxurious pieces for your home and the dupes you may like better once you see the price tag.
Are you planning on hosting a dinner party in spring? The warmer weather means more opportunities to host. I know I’ll be hosting friends and family outside in my courtyard. To be honest, I feel a bit rusty. I haven’t hosted a dinner party with more than twelve people in years. So today’s blog topic is about kitchen accessories you need for a dinner party. I found everything from linen napkins to a luxury espresso machine for after dinner. Check out my finds below.
