While scrolling through Instagram, I came across this gorgeous French farmhouse located in Provence, France. This 18th century structure is so inspirational. Who wouldn’t want to travel here for a summer vacation? I miss traveling and exploring new places.

The buildings were renovated by Alexandre Lafourcade. And the landscaping was designed by Dominique Lafourcade. The main house is 13,000 square feet with seven bedrooms. The buildings were restored to feature both traditional Provence style and modern luxury. I’m in love with the architecture and thought I should share it with all of you.

Recently, I’ve been obsessed with exploring restaurant interiors. There’s just something breathtaking about walking into a perfectly designed restaurant. The colors, furniture, lighting, and scent all add together to create an ambiance. A restaurant is basically an extended home. A place to enjoy a meal in a beautiful or unique space. I need to plan a fall getaway!  San Francisco is calling my name.  I have lots of friends up north and a cousin too.  I definitely have the bay area on my mind these days!  San Francisco has a wonderful array of short term rental homes perfect for a vacation or longer stay! San Francisco has been on my mind lately and I’ve been spending some time looking into rentals. I discovered during my research that San Francisco is trying to shut down the number of rental properties like this so there are much fewer listings than in previous years. But not to worry! As someone who loves to travel and explore new places and cultures I find myself traveling often in order to feed that side of my soul. Pink Mamma is a decor lover’s dream restaurant in Paris designed by Martin Brudnizki Design. This eclectic Italian restaurant is a floral and pastel wonderland. The latest addition to the Big Mamma Group, this multi-story bar and restaurant combo is more than meets the eye…

Located in Pigalle neighborhood in Paris, Big Mamma is a green multilevel paradise of Italian food and drinks (oh yes…it is a restaurant, not just a place for design lovers and selfie-takers to drool over the surroundings), bright and verdant plants, and the most whimsical design. Beautiful tiles line the floors of the all-day dining culminating in a garden rooftop that not only makes you forget you’re in the middle of a city but also provides an amazing view of Paris below.

And Pink Mamma makes great use of the different spaces in this four-story city sanctuary.

My ode to fall continues with my first Fall City Guide listing all the unique fall things you can do in a city near you.  Miami, Seattle, Chicago, Austin, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.  This guide covers all the fun things you can experience close to home. Events are happening all over this October and November. And I’m not just talking about pumpkin patch photo ops.

Not every fall activity is the same and no two cities have the same interesting things to offer.  I suggest reading some of the interesting things going on in other cities too!

Maybe your town goes all out for Oktoberfest or celebrates fall with some mojitos. This fall, be a tourist in your own area and take advantage of the unique things your town or city and the surrounding area has to offer. If you know me, you know I was admittedly OBSESSED with the Royal Wedding!

I am still on a detox after days of being glued to the TV, live streams, and social media soaking up every detail I could about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. I can’t be the only one who cared that much, right?? Help me please.

One thing I can’t stop thinking about from the magical weekend is the Cliveden House, the exclusive hotel property just outside of Windsor where Meghan and her mother, Doria Ragland, stayed the night before the nuptials.

As you can imagine, the dreamy seventeenth century estate located in the quaint Berkshire countryside is incredibly historic and sits on about 400 acres of land. Surrounded by trees and gardens, the venue also offers stunning views of the River Thames. Inside there are ornate chandeliers, gold-plated furniture, heavy-canopied beds, oil paintings, and velvet couches. The definition of glamour!
