Perfection found in a chic Paris apartment today. A wonderful apartment with all of the architectural details I love. High ceilings, decorative molding and paneling on the walls and ceilings, large tall windows, a grand carved marble fireplace mantel and fantastic chevron wood floors. Then there are the bold matte black walls in the foyer. Very daring (not sure this would be my choice) but it all works together. Designed by the very talented Parisian architect and designer Isabel Stanislas.
This chic Paris apartment is also furnished with just the right blend of modern art and contemporary furniture creating a great contrast to the elegantly classic architecture. I love it. You know I love a wonderful Paris apartment (see here and here and here). In fact, I will be in Paris this summer visiting my mother who is there in the 6th Arrondissement enjoying the very lovely Paris apartment she rents every summer. Cannot wait.
Well for now…enjoy a house tour of this Paris home!
Oh just because they are always confused, here is a diagram showing you the difference between chevron and herringbone wood floors. Many people have asked how do I tell the difference between chevron and herringbone? Well see below.
What do you think of this chic Paris apartment? Do you agree with me that it’s a good one? Would you take it or leave it?

P.S. Today I am going to be wearing this plaid strapless dress to a dinner party. I swear it is super cute in person. On the site it doesn’t look as cute. I bought it this weekend. Please follow me on SnapChat at “cococozyblog” and I will give you a glimpse! My friend AG’s husband R says that no woman looks good in a strapless dress…I’m going to put it to the test. Will keep you posted!

Love the dress. The apartment’s architecture is wonderful, but it looks like it’s not quite finished–no character or passion. Have fun at dinner. xo Mary
