THE MULTI MILLION DOLLAR PARIS TOWNHOUSE I LOVE

Wood paneled den in a Paris townhouse

My mother loves Paris.  My sister loves Paris.  My guy TE loves Paris.  Hence I am always on the “dream hunt” for a magical place in Paris that we could keep for vacations and long stays.  I must add…this is a dream…so many things to do here stateside though –   with work, COCOCOZY business, family and loved ones, my dog Mr. Boo who is 17lbs and almost 10 years old but continues to gnaw on large pieces of furniture, I know that a Paris apartment is merely a dream right now…but you never know.

Anyhooo…while dreaming today…thinking that this 8 bedrooms, 6,100 square feet listed by Sotheby’s Realty in France would do quite nicely in   Located in the Auteuil district in the 16th arrondissment, this wonderful home also comes with a large garden.  3 stories, 4 parking spaces, a detached guest house…who could ask for more?

I love the wood paneled den, the arched doorways, the decorative wall moldings, the mirrored French doors (so fittingly French), the super modern kitchen, the bright light filtering through the generous windows, the thin planked wood floors and more…

What do you think of this Paris pad?  Like or dislike?  Would you move to Paris full time to live here?  Would you keep it decorated like it is or would you add your own touch.  Okay…I always want to add my own touch…but if someone were to offer me this Paris home for free (why they would do that I do not know), I would take it exactly like it is…happily.  I am easy breezy.

Happy Thursday!

You are not going to feel motivated every day. AndYou are not going to feel motivated every day. And you don’t have to.
Some days you’ll feel inspired and everything seems to click. Other days, you’ll question what you’re doing and wonder if any of it is actually working.
The important thing is not to mistake a slow day for a step backward.
You can keep going even when the motivation isn’t there. Some days, showing up is the progress.
Save this for the days when you need the reminder. 🤍

Some of my favorite travel moments are the ones you don’t plan: the pretty street you turn onto, the café you notice while walking by, the building you stop to look at for no particular reason.
So if you’re planning a Paris trip, don’t fill every hour. Leave room to wander.

So today, I took my work somewhere else. ☕️💻
A little change of scenery, a different view, a few hours away from my usual desk and somehow the workday felt a little lighter.
I’ve found that working somewhere else can be a nice reset when I’m feeling stuck, uninspired, or just too used to the same routine. It’s not necessarily about being more productive; sometimes it’s just about making the day feel different.
A little workday change of scenery with me. 🤍
Would you take your work somewhere else for the day?

A great parquet floor doesn’t just ground a room. A great parquet floor doesn’t just ground a room. It tells you everything about the history of the space. The patina, the pattern, the way light moves across it. These are the rooms that prove good bones never go out of style.
What’s your favorite parquet pattern?
