I love the combination of modern design with vintage and historical elements throughout the home. They kept the color palette very neutral and minimal. However, their combination of texture and style helps elevate the home. The townhouse is comfortable and beautiful. The Greens and Brent did a great job balancing different design styles.
Former professional hockey player, Mike Green and his wife Courtney, took on a renovation project back in 2017. After playing ten seasons for the Washington Capitals, Mike wanted to settle down in the city with his family. They were open to the idea of a full renovation project. When they found a rundown 1914 townhouse located in the Kalorama Triangle neighborhood, they felt like it was the right fit.
With the help of celebrity interior designer, Jeremiah Brent, they were able to transform the space into the home of their dreams. The structure features large windows and skylights allowing a flood of natural light. The home is bright and clean but features neutral textures and details. The custom white oak floors and Italian Paonazzo marble kitchen were the two key elements that elevated the townhouse.
