Cutest Basic PJs – Sweet Dreams

cutest basic pjs stylish pajamas

Topic of the day…the cutest basic pjs…where oh where do I find you?

Okay…so before I met my guy TE, I would fall asleep in just about anything.  I had a stash of very chic nightgowns and a few cute pajama sets but still, pre-TE,  I would often shun my cute nightgowns and dress in sleepwear that looked more like a clown outfit than actual night-clothes. I am always cold at night so the outfits pre-TE were sometimes as crazy as sweat pants, an old wool sweater, a scarf (yes a scarf), a knit hat (yes a knit hat) and hiking socks. Please note…I live in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!! Couple all of the aforementioned arctic winter night clothing with face creams and pin curls…and on a good night I could have rivaled a circus clown and a court jester in the looks department (truthfully the clown and the jester would have won the beauty contest).

Anyhooo…since TE, I do think about what I wear to sleep a little more, just a little more.   I am now totally into pajama sets.  Comfy, practical and easy to wake up in and walk around the house in (we have a house full with TE’s son and co.).    I have oodles of adorable nightgowns that I brought into the TE relationship…and now I actually wear them…but I also love a good set of super cute pjs.  I am on the hunt.  Here are 6 sweet dreaming basic pj and romper sets that I like.

Haha I so relate to you! I wear whatever is comfortable and around basically. Don’t even start on the face and hair stuff 😀

But then every once in a while when I think it’s time to own a real PJ it feels amazing! Why not being comfortable and looking good?? I find its hard to find cute PJ’s though. My favorites are as well 2, 3 and 6!! I’d need something warmer though 🙂

Heidi Caillier Design took this historic San Francisco home and layered floral wallpaper, striped drapery, checked linens, and antique textiles room after room without a single one feeling overdone. Marble mantels, gilt mirrors, brass fixtures, and warm wood floors do the quiet work of holding it all together.

A great bathroom isn’t just functional, it’s the one room in the house that’s entirely yours. The stone you choose, the way light hits the fixtures, the tub you actually want to sit in. These are the ones that get it exactly right.

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸 Here’s a little throwback toHappy Labor Day! 🇺🇸
Here’s a little throwback to a Labor Day dinner party I hosted a few years ago, and honestly, we’d still do it this way. 🥂✨
Hosting this Labor Day? Keep it simple:
• Set the table with one statement detail + neutral basics
• Choose a menu you can prep ahead so you’re not cooking all night
• Add candles or flowers to make the table feel special
• Serve everything family-style for a more relaxed feel
• Don’t overthink it. The best dinners are the ones where everyone lingers a little longer 🤍
Save this for your next dinner party and send it to someone who’s hosting! 🍽️

The bouclé sofa isn’t a trend, it’s a commitment. The bouclé sofa isn’t a trend, it’s a commitment. Soft, sculptural, and impossible to walk past without wanting to sit down. The rooms that get it right pair it with something unexpected: a dramatic mural, an antique screen, a city skyline, a hand-laid mosaic floor.
