DOMINICAN REPUBLIC DAYS - PLAYA GRANDE BEACH CLUB EXCLUSIVE

So excited!  Next week I will be seeing best of friend AM and her family in the Dominican Republic.  I will be staying at this darling place featured here !  AM and her hubby JE live in NYC, have a fabulous weekend house in the Hamptons and they also own a house in the Dominican Republic.  Years ago, AM became an investor in a resort community called the Playa Grande Beach Club.  She and several others bought into money manager Boykin Curry and interior designer Celerie Kemble’s dream resort idea.  Well, years later AM now has a cute house and a guest house right on the beach in The DR and I get to visit her there. Wooohooooo!

The resort was just featured in this month’s Architectural Digest…but I have these cute exclusive pictures of AM’s bungalow to share as well.  The bungalows were designed by Celerie and her team.  Love the pale blue ceilings, the mint green trim and all the carved architectural detail.  Very fanciful and pretty.

Very sad that TE will not be able to join me on this Dominican vacation!  He has a business trip that he has to be on for the week. Well I guess I just will suffer away without my boyfriend – just me,  my best friend and her darling family in paradise (whoa is me)!

Happy Friday!

P.S.  Speaking of TE.  He and I are having tile dilemma’s on the master bathroom of our Malibu house.  This weekend, we will spend most of the weekend running around looking at tile to try to figure things out.  We are months away from tile installation on the project but we want to get this whole thing solved so we can plan other things. We will be using Caesarstone for the floating sink in the bathroom but that is all we have definitely decided on so far!!! Make sure to follow me @cococozy on Instagram to see our tile hunt story!

P.P.S.  Monday was sis DS birthday as I mentioned but we had more good news that day.  My mother, perhaps one of the smartest people in the world, just found out that her third book will be published!  So excited for her.  Congratulations mom!  I am so so proud of you!  Nice to have a role model as your mom! Right?

TGIF! 🤍 This week had its challenges, but it wasTGIF! 🤍
This week had its challenges, but it was still a step up from the last few. That’s reason enough to celebrate with a great dinner. 🥂
Tonight’s choice: denim on denim with a few Chanel accessories. Simple, effortless, and perfect for ending the week on a high note.
What’s your go-to dinner outfit?

Low light. Lacquered walls. A kitchen wrapped in hand-patinated brass. An antique mirrored bath with painted bamboo panels. A bedroom in floor-to-ceiling leopard print that somehow feels calm. Maximalism that whispers.

Picked lemons from my mom’s tree in Claremont andPicked lemons from my mom’s tree in Claremont and then spotted lemons selling for $1.29 each at a grocery store in Beverly Hills. 🍋
Did some quick math and realized I might be sitting on a gold mine. 😂
New business idea? Lemon mogul? Freshly squeezed startup founder?
Stay tuned. Lol.
