Very cute small home. This design from Chris Barrett Design works. This Santa Monica house was built in the 1940s an recently remodeled for a modern day family. White clean and fresh with a smart use of textiles and fabrics to create visual interest. Overall, the feeling in this space is fresh and light. Feels contemporary with some mid century influences in the decor. I like the high ceilings in the living room. I love everything in the kitchen including the slab backsplash. The banquette seating in the dining room is good looking and a great space saver too.

My guy TE and I are living in our home in Malibu. We moved in earlier this month while the house is still under construction. Even though we are not even done yet, I am itching to do another home renovation. I have the remodeling bug in me and I am ready for more. Don’t know if TE is on the same page…hee hee! Maybe we’ll find a cute bungalow to tackle next. TE? What do you think? Kidding. 🙂 Uhmm…not….oh yes I am kidding…not…no really I am kidding. Right? Hmmm…
Happy Tuesday!

And while I’ve remodeled a dozen houses in the last two years, my own two year new kitchen still needs an island, and a microwave, and window coverings, and pulls on half the drawers….
