Eclectic Los Angeles Mansion By Brigette Romanek

Brigette Romanek, the owner of Romanek Design Studio, gave an inside look at her eclectic Mediterranean-style home in Laurel Canyon. It’s bright and airy but has Romanek’s vibrant touch throughout the home. It features whimsical art, clean lines, and luxurious decor. What’s even more interesting about this home is that it was rumored to be owned by Houdini in the 1920s.

Romanek’s passion for design started when she decorated homes for her family and close friends. She realized her love for interior design which eventually led her to open her very own studio. Her style is a combination of modern and vintage designs. She is playful with her creations, but everything always has a purpose.

Throughout the home, you will see French-inspired decor. The walls have moldings around the trim. The foyer features a crystal chandelier and vintage gray-and-white marble tiles that are actually from a French château. Romanek is brilliant at balancing antique finds and modern decor.
