Festive Holiday Vail Home – Interior Inspiration

I hope you all had a cozy and joyful holiday. I’m still in the Christmas spirit. That’s probably due to the fact that I set up my holiday decor just last week. While on an Instagram deep dive, I came across Ken Fulk’s latest design. This whimsical Vail, Colorado home looks like the perfect setting for a holiday movie. He incorporated all of the holiday essentials like checkerboard floors and plaid upholstery. Pops of reds and greens are seen throughout the chalet. His clients wanted a cool winter getaway that their kids can enjoy.

This unique kitchen features a custom-made green island. The wood beam ceilings make this kitchen look grand and rustic. The room features a vintage copper pendant lights and rustic green upholstered chairs.

You know I love a breakfast banquette. The bench is a custom Holland & Sherry bench. The vintage brass pendant was crafted in Italy in 1880.

The five-story home features an elevator (as it should). Fulk decided to transform the lobby into a bar and game room.

Why do I suddenly have the urge to ski? I don’t ski and don’t know how to ski. However, I love a functional mudroom. Fulk renovated the space to fit all of the winter accessories and ski equipment.

The next holiday on our calendar is New Year’s Eve. Somehow it’s already 2022. About 8 people are coming over to celebrate the holiday. It’s going to be a low-key celebration with just close friends and family. I want to wish you all a happy and healthy New Year!
