Love this fabulous foyer from Bear Hill Interiors. It boasts one of my favorite wallpapers by Manuel Canovas for Cowtan & Tout. The blues, whites and tans all work together. Lots of subtle texture and visual interest. This entrance is just pretty. Very fresh.
Nice way to start a Friday!

ah, i’ve seen this one before – loved it then and still do!!! enjoy the weekend!
That is really, really gorgeous. I don’t know about wallpapering the ceiling though. It seems like overkill in a room that is perfect and very simple.
Luv this! I have a bay window area where I’ve set up my office this would be perfect…def on ceiling.
Ah, lots of OLY love here!

I love it! I would race to come home to a foyer like this…The wallpaper is very classic and seems like it could work with a lot of different textures and colors.
I love the ceiling! It adds a bit of depth to the pale space. The casing is all very nice, too!
The wallpaper on the ceiling actually works really well in the space because they ran the wainscoting so high up on the walls. It’s very well balanced.

beautiful space, and if you’re standing at that front door, you actually have a wonderful lakefront view (had the pleasure of standing in that foyer!). the blues tie in with the view, and the wallpaper livens things up a bit.
Very fabulous indeed!
My bedroom is blues and tans. I never tire of it. Wall papering the ceiling really warms up a space. I have never seen a manuel canovas anything I didn’t love.
Best,
Liz
love this, and thank you for feeding into my google reader! woo!
I am glad to see the wallpaper making a comeback – and not just for bedrooms. Neutral colors with a few bright spots look really nice – a combination of harmony and contrast.
