I know…it is supposed to be the week I only focus on bathrooms…but one can’t spend all of their time zeroed in just on baths. Right? Right. So while BATH WEEK continues for sure…this lovely outdoor vintage side chair is cute enough to make the best of us lose focus!

Went to drinks at CB’s cute house in Venice with a whole group of people on Friday including CJ, AZ, TG, JS and RM…then to First Fridays, a monthly event where Venice Beach stores, galleries and restaurants on Abbot Kinney stay open and loads of people walk around…then to dinner at The Tasting Kitchen. In the middle of the evening, CB said I had to ditch the group and go into a store called Patio Culture. We indeed left the group for a bit (okay maybe it was an hour or more) and popped into CB’s favorite outdoor furniture and accessories store. It was charming.

It was in Patio Culture, that I ran into this fab glam outdoor lounge chair. Sophisticated, chic and simple. Loved the hot pink color (in my quest for ways to add color to my indoor and outdoor spaces).

I am going back to Patio Culture tomorrow to examine a turquoise pouf (ottoman) that I may purchase. I hope they are open on Labor Day!

What do you think of this chair?

I really like the frame, but not crazy about the fabric of the cushion – a little too busy for my taste 🙂

The Mute. 220 sqm of Haussmannian light in eastern The Mute. 220 sqm of Haussmannian light in eastern Paris, dressed entirely in white.
Old-world plasterwork meets contemporary furniture, and warm brown-stained wood quietly anchors every room. A conversation between heritage and modernity that never raises its voice. By @atelierdaaa 🤍

Red rooms. No half measures, no accent walls. Just Red rooms. No half measures, no accent walls. Just full, total, committed red.
From crimson kitchens to scarlet bathrooms, swipe through the spaces that prove one color is always enough.
Which one would you live in? 🔴
Save this for when you’re finally ready to commit.

Did you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-ÉlyséeDid you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-Élysées closes to traffic entirely?
No cars. Just people, walking straight down the center with the Arc de Triomphe ahead. Then I walked home over The Seine. It had just rained, and the sky was doing something extraordinary. And of course, the Eiffel Tower showed up right on cue.
Paris on a quiet Sunday is something else. 🖤

This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millo This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millory @felixmillory , is defined by two things: a tightly controlled material palette and a sculptural art collection that runs through every room without exception.
Travertine frames every doorway. Dark smoked oak covers the joinery and cabinetry. Grey marble runs across the kitchen counters and island. Within that framework, figurative sculptures on the shelves, a large totemic piece at the entrance, stone forms on the dining table, a large-format artwork in the kitchen. Every room has at least one object that demands your attention. 🗿
→ Save this if you’re designing around a sculpture collection.
