Get Inspired: A Cozy Elegant Kitchen in Kalorama

Luxurious kitchens don’t need to be grand spaces. You can find beauty in small spaces too. This elegant kitchen was designed by Zoe Feldman Design. She gave this space a facelift by adding navy blue cabinets and accessorizing with gold hardware. My favorite element in the flooring. It complements the beautiful blue hue of the cabinets.

A tiny space can have a big impact on the design of your home. Feldman modernized the kitchen with Calcutta marble countertops and backsplash. To prevent the room from looking too cluttered she added open shelving.

Feldman worked on this project for a client who owns a pied-a-terre in Kalorama ( a neighborhood in Washington, D.C.). For those who don’t know, a pied-a-terre is a popular phrase in real estate for apartments that are used on occasion or people who own second homes when they travel frequently for work, vacation, etc.
