Get Inspired: Charming Galley Kitchen inside a London Home

A galley kitchen is one of the most functional layouts in a home. It’s easy to get around due to the open aisle down the center. This particular kitchen has been in my archives for a while. Interior designer, Jane Gowers, remodeled her charming London home. One design element that I love is the doors that allow direct access to the terrace. It’s great for entertaining guests. It lightens up the green hues, which gives it a charming atmosphere.

Gowers uses an earthy color palette throughout her home. Each room has its own unique style, but the overall flow of the home feels very cohesive.

The house has its original bones with contemporary finishes. Gowers originally wanted to completely renovate the house to make it more modern. Then she realized the true beauty of the British architecture. She added her own design style making it an elegant and charming space.
