Let’s discuss how to decorate a bookshelf – with more than just books. A bookshelf is a wonderful place to show off your style and accessorize. Along with beautiful books it is the perfect place to add those smaller knick knack accessories to bring it all together. When picking out decorative pieces and books try to stick with a color scheme to set the tone.

First and foremost we will need start off decorating with books of course. If you don’t already have a collection of good reads, decorative coffee table books are the way to go. This is where the fun happens and you can get creative. Mix and match decor like elaborate bookends or antique vases and candlesticks – the options are endless!
