Gold shoes are the flavor of the week friends…what is it about anything sparkly that I immediately have to have…closed-toe, sandals, lace-ups, pointed flats, you name it, I’ve found it in droves and am resisting the urge to purchase every pair.
Before two weeks ago, I had never in my life owned a pair of gold shoes. Gold shoes would never be part of the equation of any outfit I would wear. Was chatting with a friend from work, a very stylish cute preppy girl who regularly saunters into the office in some sort of metallic flat shoe. She encouraged me to go for the gold. I’ve found that gold is such a flattering shoe color and it adds the perfect, feminine touch to any outfit, whether it’s to the office or to a party or walking the streets of a new city.
In particular, I’ve been loving these J.Crew Sloan Gold Shoes recently…they’ve been to work, dinner parties, and are going on vacation with me soon (if you haven’t seen yet, I’ve made this goal of summer 2016 to pack light for my summer travels…to be continued on whether or not it was a success.)
