The gold Masters Chair from Kartell

This gold Masters Chair from Kartell inspired this post.  Revealed in Milan at the design show there this year, Kartell has taken Philippe Starck designed plastic chair and added a metallic sheen to it.  Love it.

I am always attracted to metallic things.  I write about them a lot.

A gold ring from Barney’s.
Golden napkin rings from West Elm (above)
Gold and silver fish scale clutch!

SHOP THIS POST:
1. Chair
2. Ring
3. Napkin rings
4. Fish scale clutch purse

Happy Thursday!

P.S.  Will be hiring someone to assist part time or full time here in Los Angeles soon.  Please feel free to send you resumes if you like design, are extremely organized, are good at office management, and can get a wide variety of projects done in a timely fashion.  Need to have some PhotoShop and computer skills as well.  Email [email protected].  Will have more on the position soon.

P.P.S.  Today is best of friend AM’s bday!  Happy birthday best of friend AM.

P.P.P.S.  Was so happy to see interior designer Nicole Gibbons the other day.  She was visiting Los Angeles and stopped by the COCOCOZY HQ to say hi!  Was nice catching up with her.   We had a really nice chat. She took some fabric swatches too for potential use on a project she is working on! Fingers crossed she uses COCOCOZY fabrics in her next design project!

P.P.P.P.S.  Going to North Carolina in a week.  Will be in High Point…showing the new collection of COCOCOZY Rugs at the Capel Rugs showroom in Market Square on Saturday and Sunday during market.  Please stop by to say hi.  I may be a bit blearly eyed as I am flying in on Saturday morning and leaving on Sunday night.  Will be fun seeing the folks at Capel, best of friend AM is coming and we are trying to schedule some time to see TW too.  Besides rugs, I am also launching a new small collection at High Point that I cannot wait to tell you about!

P.P.P.P.P.S. Miss TE…he was in London and is now flying to Mexico City for work.  He’ll be back Sunday.  Safe travels TE.

A masterclass in contemporary wedding event designA masterclass in contemporary wedding event design, every detail feels intentional, layered, and deeply personal.
Designed by @bychenai, a prolific and talented London based wedding and events planner, this wedding is a study in thoughtful design and artful creative direction. We say well done Chenai!
Long tables arranged in a maze-like formation created a striking design, while still allowing 350 guests to move throughout the space. A rich brown and gold palette brought warmth and depth, paired with refined tabletops and lush floral centerpieces.
