Gray Malin Book Signing!

Happy Monday!!

Remember my trip to the Hamptons a few weeks ago? On my last day there, AM, MR, and I stopped by a little cocktail party at Serena and Lily.   The editor-in-chief of Hamptons Magazine was hosting the Gray Malin book signing for his new coffee table book, BEACHES.

It was fun to meet the photographer/artist.  He was super nice.  We actually didn’t even know he would be there. AM and MR had us drop by the store party on our way to another store party (yes…back to back store parties…that day in the the Hamptons included an afternoon barbecue, two store parties and our own dinner party…social whirlwind).   While I was running around like a busy body taking photos of all of the pretty home furnishings in the store…AM grabbed my arm and said “Stop taking photos.  Go say hi to Gray Malin, I told him you were here.  You know who Gray Malin is?  Right?”  Before I knew it, I was standing in the middle of the Serena and Lily store in a photo op with Gray himself…too funny to see the photo made Hampton’s Magazine.

Are you a Gray Malin fan too? I’ve been drawn to his photography since my trip and I love his work…so fun and whimsical and honestly his new book is the perfect trip to paradise for any coffee table…would love to know what you think of it!

I am going back to the Hamptons for 4th of July weekend.  Who knows how many parties I’ll go to and who I’ll meet…stay tuned for my summer travel stories.
