New Favorite House Alert….flavor of the week is this adorable cottage from ASH interior design firm. This SAG Harbor Cottage is perfection…warm, inviting, artistic, and full of amazing lines, curves, details. It is literally perfection, I would gladly upgrade to this little cottage ; ) Everything from the living room to the kitchen to the bedrooms has such intricate detail but also a comfortability that instantly makes the cottage feel lived in and welcoming. I loved the family room especially, it’s bright, airy, and blends color, patterns, and textures perfectly. The chairs and the antlers as an art piece are so ornate don’t you think??
Utilizing odd shaped walls like the one above for art galleries is such a great use of space that would otherwise be wasted…and these hydrangeas on the coffee table are to die for…lush and bright…the perfect touch of life to this space.
I love what ASH says about their design philosophy: We subscribe to a design theory that eschews premeditation or calculation in favor of an organic approach that is influenced equally by architecture, history, art, light and color. We are fanatics of detail, material and source.
