This 3000 square foot architectural Cape Cod and barn style home is newly-remodeled and was staged to sell by premier interior designer Meridith Baer. Far from Cape Cod and not at all in the country side, this home is actually in the “valley” here in Los Angeles!
What stands out most to me in this home are the 25 foot truss-beamed ceilings and the grand great room that combines the living room, dining room, kitchen and family room in one! The gourmet kitchen is pretty awesome too…with an 8-ft island with white marble counters, subway tile backsplash and stainless steel appliances!
Love the dark stained wood floors, the timeless furniture (in particular the caned sofa and armchairs) and the simple, elegant and modern design.
Would happily live in this so called “barn”…
I love the way the house looks inside and out. However the only thing I would probably change is the color of the beams. I would have them painted a dark color.
