Readers…have a special for you today…a guest post!

This is the first ever guest post on COCOCOZY. I have yet to invite anyone to guest post on the blog but decided this post could be worth.

This first guest post comes from my amazing former intern Spardha. After spending months helping me out on COCOCOZY, I’ve asked my one-time intern to think up her own post concept for me to consider for possible posting. She submited her idea…and I loved it…so with a little editing here we are…

To cut to the chase, I give you former COCOCOZY intern Spardha Townend with her first guest post!

****
BEGIN INTERN GUEST POST:

As my boyfriend and I start to decorate our first apartment together, we clearly have some differences in design styles. As reflected through our personal style, I lean towards neutral colours and classic lines, while he moves towards rich colours and big, bold pieces.

I always look forward to Coco’s posts about what runway looks translate in to a certain piece of furniture or the fabric & colour of a room. So when Coco approached me about writing a guest posting, I wanted to look even further in to the relationship between Fashion & Interior Design.

I remember reading sometime around April about a hotel Armani was opening in Dubai where the style of each room reflected the brand & it’s signature look. From there I discovered that beyond the runway, there has been a surge or Designers contributing to new condo developments and hotels across the globe! Here are a few of my favorites!

Thanks again to Coco for all her help & inspiration during my internship with Cococozy.com, it’s been an exciting last couple of months! I will continue to seek inspiration from your website – for decorating ideas, day dreaming, or just to catch up & see what you have been up to!

As to who will prevail in my apartment decorating project? Only time will tell, but I’m leaning towards me, of course!!!

Much Love,
Spardha

END INTERN GUEST POST

these spaces are AWFUL!!!! these fashion designers need to stick to designing clothes. at least the clothes last for only a season or so.

I like the spaces and the translation /relationship between fashion and interior design. Of course, we all have our personal preferences but these examples are very clever. Love the Armani dress.

Congratulations Spardha, on a job well done.

As a graduate of FIT and Interior Design as my profession, I can appreciate the common bonds of fashion and design. That said, I think the rooms look over done, with one exception the Armani room. But, lets give them a break, they think dressing a room is like dressing a model, we know thats just not the case. They were being used to sell the condos, using their names will help the marketing of the property, my name would not. LOL.

I thought your examples were great even if the rooms were not to my taste. But to me looking at Others Designs isn’t always to see examples of my own style but seeing what someone else can do with their personal unique style and ideas. God Job Sparaha!

I was hoping to find out more information about the blue kitchen pieces, but was left sadly uninformed. Not sure the point of the blog if you can’t find out this info.

Behind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOBehind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOCOZY bedding collection at the Welspun showroom in New York. Met with some buyers, had a fun time with the Welspun team, then capped off the weekend with a visit with friends. It is a long process to get bedding in stores across the country...showing the collections at textiles market is one of the first steps!
If you're interested in learning how I have gotten @cococozy products into stores around the country over the years including in major retailers...follow along...just one entrepreneur's journey. :)

Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celeb Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celebrate...I want to help.
I want to make a meaningful impact in our greater Los Angeles community suffering from the fires. I invite you to join me in transforming birthday wishes into support for one local organization on the ground in Pasadena/Altadena.
I have made a contribution today already to the LA Fire Relief Fund created by @victorybiblechurch in Pasadena. They are actively assisting families in need in both Pasadena and Altadena who have been affected by the devastating Eaton Fire.
Although I don't have a personal connection to Pastor DeCuir or the church, I was searching for an organization that is helping in the Altadena area. A well respected civil rights attorney I follow @leemerrittesq is on the ground helping the church members and community members with legal services in the wake of the fires. I hope by contributing to their efforts, we can extend a helping hand to those facing significant challenges during this difficult time
To donate, please visit their website at https://vbcpasadena.org/ (link in bio as well). Every contribution, no matter the size, brings hope and relief to those who need it most. Tell them you heard about them from me.
Your generosity to the Los Angeles community is the best birthday gift I could ask for.

Happy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this freshHappy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this fresh chapter, I’m reminded of the beauty of starting anew and I like recommitting to goals at the top of the year. Nothing set in stone but just an overall vision of what I'd like to do and who I would hope to help along the way.
This year, my mantra is: **dream big, act boldly, treasure the small joys, continue to lead with kindness and to have as much empathy as possible for others **. Just a few things...😂
I’m also deeply committed to helping people who follow along to achieve their dreams. I'll be curating captivating interior design inspiration with COCOCOZY that will hopefully give you ideas and dreams for your own space. I will also be empowering you to realize the value of your influence with Chirpyest by earning cash back for sharing and shopping. I hope to be open about the journey of the COCOCOZY product line. I want to share real time behind the scenes how the line is being built and how we are growing Chirpyest; both examples of the not so linear journey of building businesses from the ground up. I hope these stories spark you to push your own boundaries and shake out of your comfort zones.
Lastly, in 2025, I’m committed to surrounding myself with people who have a positive vibe about them while striving to be that same light for others. Luckily, I have a great start on this with an amazing family and fantastic group of friends - a fantastic support network.
My wish for you in 2025: May this year bring you clarity, courage, and the confidence to pursue all that makes you happy.
What’s one thing you’re committing to in 2025? Let’s inspire each other in the comments! 💬❤️
Let's get to this...am ready 2025!
