This little modern house with an amazing floating staircase is aptly named The Jewel House. Designed by architect Karen Abernethy from Australia. The home is a brick Victorian on the exterior that was re-imagined as an adorable modern space on the interior. Looks like the stairs are hanging from strings but they are actually metal posts suspended from a frame attached to the slanted ceiling. Fascinating design!
The masonry, the stairs, the overall house lends to the name…Jewel House!
