KITCHEN WEEK BEGINS!

May 2, 2011
  • Share

Okay…am a huge commitment-phobe when it comes to the blog and saying I’ll do anything for a week…but I think I’ll break out of my commitment free comfort zone and say it.

Welcome to KITCHEN WEEK here on COCOCOZY. This week (for 5 days not the full week…breaking out into cold sweat of thought of sticking to something beyond the 5 days), I’ll bring you some fab kitchens and some design ideas for your eating spaces.

I like this kitchen here with its floor to ceiling white subway tile walls, the floating metal shelf that serves as a stylish pot rack, and love the creamy color of the range (what a fab oven…can’t tell what brand it is but I’m thinking Viking).  And that black door with the panes leading out to a garden perhaps?  Perfection!

What do you think of this first KITCHEN WEEK kitchen? Do tell!

Hope you enjoy!  Wish me luck.

Happy Monday!

P.S. Wanted to thank reader and clothing designer Annabelle LaRoque for sending me a photo the other day. She was visiting Palm Beach for Easter and happened upon a display of COCOCOZY pillows at gorgeous Palm Beach furniture shop Island Home! Was so excited to see my pillows on display at a store! Go to COCOCOZY Twitter to see the photo of COCOCOZY Fence pillows that Annabelle took with her phone and then sent to me! Thank you Annabelle!

P.P.S. Also, readers…please do send in photos of your kitchens this week. I would love to see and I might even post! Can’t wait to see your cooking spaces too! Email me at [email protected]!

Ha, good luck with that- just kidding, you wouldn’t be the success that you are if you really couldn’t stay focused 🙂 That kitchen is a beaut- you’re 1 for 1!

Oh I do like that rack!! My new kitchen is ALMOST ready for a photo, and I’m dying to put my new Paderno stainless steel pots and pans away in my new drawers. At this moment, I am ripping carpet from my entrance-way stairs…part of the kitchen reno that started in January and morphed into a whole-top-floor reno…

I love this post! Im a sucker for black and white and kelly green is my fav!
On a side note I’m renting and couldn’t do much to my kitchen, but a little paint, fabric covered shelves, swapping out the hardware made a huge difference!

    check it out

I never get sick of looking at beautiful kitchens! I am so happy you reminded my of Island Home…I am going to Palm Beach in a couple days and my mom loved that store, but I didn’t have time to go last time I was there. Now, I can see your pillows in person!

Behind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOBehind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOCOZY bedding collection at the Welspun showroom in New York. Met with some buyers, had a fun time with the Welspun team, then capped off the weekend with a visit with friends. It is a long process to get bedding in stores across the country...showing the collections at textiles market is one of the first steps!
If you're interested in learning how I have gotten @cococozy products into stores around the country over the years including in major retailers...follow along...just one entrepreneur's journey. :)

Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celeb Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celebrate...I want to help.
I want to make a meaningful impact in our greater Los Angeles community suffering from the fires. I invite you to join me in transforming birthday wishes into support for one local organization on the ground in Pasadena/Altadena.
I have made a contribution today already to the LA Fire Relief Fund created by @victorybiblechurch in Pasadena. They are actively assisting families in need in both Pasadena and Altadena who have been affected by the devastating Eaton Fire.
Although I don't have a personal connection to Pastor DeCuir or the church, I was searching for an organization that is helping in the Altadena area. A well respected civil rights attorney I follow @leemerrittesq is on the ground helping the church members and community members with legal services in the wake of the fires. I hope by contributing to their efforts, we can extend a helping hand to those facing significant challenges during this difficult time
To donate, please visit their website at https://vbcpasadena.org/ (link in bio as well). Every contribution, no matter the size, brings hope and relief to those who need it most. Tell them you heard about them from me.
Your generosity to the Los Angeles community is the best birthday gift I could ask for.

Happy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this freshHappy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this fresh chapter, I’m reminded of the beauty of starting anew and I like recommitting to goals at the top of the year. Nothing set in stone but just an overall vision of what I'd like to do and who I would hope to help along the way.
This year, my mantra is: **dream big, act boldly, treasure the small joys, continue to lead with kindness and to have as much empathy as possible for others **. Just a few things...😂
I’m also deeply committed to helping people who follow along to achieve their dreams. I'll be curating captivating interior design inspiration with COCOCOZY that will hopefully give you ideas and dreams for your own space. I will also be empowering you to realize the value of your influence with Chirpyest by earning cash back for sharing and shopping. I hope to be open about the journey of the COCOCOZY product line. I want to share real time behind the scenes how the line is being built and how we are growing Chirpyest; both examples of the not so linear journey of building businesses from the ground up. I hope these stories spark you to push your own boundaries and shake out of your comfort zones.
Lastly, in 2025, I’m committed to surrounding myself with people who have a positive vibe about them while striving to be that same light for others. Luckily, I have a great start on this with an amazing family and fantastic group of friends - a fantastic support network.
My wish for you in 2025: May this year bring you clarity, courage, and the confidence to pursue all that makes you happy.
What’s one thing you’re committing to in 2025? Let’s inspire each other in the comments! 💬❤️
Let's get to this...am ready 2025!
