Luxurious Neutral Kitchen with a Rustic Twist

The power of a neutral kitchen is its simplistic luxury. The clean lines and color palette make it easy on the eye. Today’s luxurious neutral kitchen has a rustic style that gives it a unique design. The newly built home is located in Barrington, Illinois. It’s over 4,500 square feet and includes a courtyard. However, the grand kitchen is the true star of the home.

The luxurious neutral kitchen features many design details that give it a rustic edge. The designer added wood accents for contrast in the space. The use of floating shelves next to the windows is a great technique for adding storage. And for a dramatic twist, the designer also added a wooden island and herringbone floors. The crisp white walls in the kitchen help bounce around the natural light to make the room appear more spacious.

Here’s a full view of the kitchen. There’s even more wood detailing including a wood beam ceiling. One of my favorite design elements is the modern wooden refrigerator doors. The design team successfully added rustic and country elements without conflicting with the neutral concept. It feels fresh and modern. The subtle arch around the perimeter of the kitchen is a great way to transition from the kitchen to the family room area.
