Have you ever seen a mirrored house before? I have seen mirrored tables, mirrored cabinets, mirrored decorative boxes and of course wall mirrors…but I have never seen a house with a mirrored exterior.
Cut to coming upon this house called Green Orchard. It is located in England just outside of London. This 2200 square foot, 4 bedroom carbon neutral smart home was created by Paul Archer Design.
While the exterior looks like it is mirrored it is actually made up of special aluminum coated panels that help the house use less energy and that makes the house actually blend with the surroundings by reflecting the world around it! So cool right.
The inside is ultra modern and the design is definitely “less is more”. I would probably want to warm up the interior a bit with furnishings but I like the overall vibe and the idea of having a home that has been built to have minimally effects on environment.
A spectacular home to start off this first week in the New Year!
