Saw this monochromatic bathroom from a Swedish home remodel over at Elle Decor and feeling like all I want to do is climb in the bathtub and press pause for a minute….can anyone relate to having a day when you feel like you’re running in slow motion…the to-do list in your mind is on overdrive and yet you can never quite get to checking every thing off the list…there are so many exciting things on the horizon, things I can’t wait to share with everyone, but today, it’s about getting through that dang to-do list…
Do you like the monochromatic look? I’m realizing I lean towards it more and more in design, clean, modern, timeless looks, but then every once in a while I crave that pop of color so I feel like I can’t fully commit to it…it’s an internal struggle for me on the regular because then I see rooms like best of friend AM has in her East Hampton home and I’m inspired all over again by the pop of color and I remember how important color can be, even to brightening up a mood!
Would love to know what you think? Maybe only some rooms work well for a monochromatic look?I need help, especially in the midst of potential home redesigns!
PS. I’m Loving Instagram Stories!! Not sure yet if I’m switching over completely from Snapchat but it is definitely growing on me 😉

I love the tub itself – lovely and deep so won’t take long to fill – and you can lie in it up to the chin. Wonderful. Not sure about it’s environment though – looks like it has been dumped in a large and cold tiled room, with a desk and office chair. All rather strange, but isolated, the tub is wonderful and I want it!
