Get ready for the warmer weather with spring-summer denim! We may not be able to go anywhere but we can look stylish at home! Denim is such a year-round closet staple. Denim is a closet staple and is the best thing to throw on when you get sick of sweats.  Jeans, shorts, skirts, tops, jackets – you name it! First up, white denim is a no brainer for the spring and summer season. And everyone could use a new crisp pair. The perfect pant to dress up or down, these will be worn on repeat all season. The first pair is a relaxed straight leg that adds a cool vibe to any look. The second pair is more form-fitting with a flare leg. The third pair is a crispy straight leg. These are perfect options for looking and feeling a bit more put together while being infinitely chic with little effort.

Now, light pink denim. You might be uncertain about this trend but I can guarantee this will be everywhere this season. Styled correctly you can’t go wrong with a subtle pink flair. The first pair has a decent amount of pink and a clean silhouette. The second pair is a beige-pink cropped flare that is meant for the weekend. Or a zoom call with your girls! The third pair is a bit on the baggier side white still having some shape. These are perfect for lounging around the house and working from home without disrupting comfort.

Spring and summer wouldn’t be the same without the perfect pair of light blue jeans. They go with everything, can be dressed up or down, and give off a casual-cool vibe. The first pair is a slim fit straight leg that can be worn for any occasion. These are the perfect solution for go-to jeans. The second pair has a more tapered leg and light wash these would look incredible with any shoe option.  The third pair is a mid-blue in a looser fit. You will live in while lounging around the house.

The poll is in and cut-offs are back for this spring and summer season. Whether you are into short, mid, or knee-length there are cut-offs for everyone. These shorts will keep you stylish and comfortable in the heat. The first pair is a stunning white short for any chic look. The second pair is a gorgeous light blue that can be dressed up or down. The third pair is a bit more casual mid blue. These are perfect for hanging around the house, working from home, and going for a walk.

Last up are a handful of stunning mid-dark blue jeans. Just because its spring/summer doesn’t mean you have to give up your favorite mid blue denim. The first pair is dark skinny jeans that are fitted and sleek. These are perfect for your next video call or when you just want to feel dressed up. The second pair is baggier and causal. These are perfect for lounging around and feeling comfortable. The third pair is a beautiful skinny jean with a bow accent. This is the perfect universal pair. When you are in the mood for a bit of fun in your outfit put these on!

Keep it simple. No need for bells and whistles an Keep it simple. No need for bells and whistles and fancy things to make your house a home. In this picture, a plant, two chairs I found at the flea market, a layered rug situation and some modern art...de-cluttered space can be equally as inviting as one filled with memories and treasures. If you are stuck with how to decorate, I say keep it simple. Purge and start with the basics. Full disclosure, this is a shot of my living room from a few years ago when I first moved in...I didn’t even have drapes up when this was taken. I have since added pieces and changed out furniture and added a 2nd sofa...but it started super simple and it was lovely back then. When the world is swirling around us and making no sense, how are you keeping things simple at home? #socococozy #bringstylehome #cococozy
Pre-pandemic throw back photo to where I was last Pre-pandemic throw back photo to where I was last year. Clueless as to what was to come. Was in Paris, with my mom, enjoying her summer apartment in the middle of the 6th arrondissement. I had just left the U.K. visiting friends for a few days in London and the Cotswolds. None of us knew that this summer 2020 would be so different. Today, I can only hope this time of tumult and great divides leads somehow to a future of calm and harmony. Going backwards in time is not an option. Pushing forward is. Happy Sunday to you. Where were you last summer? Where do you imagine you’ll be next? Xoxo #socococozy #bringstylehome
Incredible living room before and after as designe Incredible living room before and after as designed by my good friend Steve Jones @bettershelter! I went on a tour today. I also went on a tour a year ago when he first got the house. See my stories. Swipe to see what this room looked like before. Life lesson from a room transformation: When faced with the daunting and not so pretty, look to do the work, and you can make changes to bring out what is good. Right? This home by the way is going on the market soon and is in one of my favorite parts of town, View Park. What changes have you made lately that have turned bad into good? #socococozy #bringstylehome #remodeling #homerenovation #californiadreaming

Am in my living room right now looking at these pretty flowers in that white urn I found lying around. The urn works (see Flower Power highlights for backstory). Thinking on who I might send one of these bouquets to today as a little act of kindness. Still working on the patience piece of her advice! 🤪 Who might you send flowers to? How can you be more patient with yourself? Happy Saturday!
