MY FAVE PHILLIP JEFFRIES WALLCOVERINGS!

April 20, 2012

Breakfast nook with floor to ceiling Moroccan style Phillip Jeffries printed wallpaper, round table and modern chairs

I like this look in this breakfast nook and kitchen. Floor to ceiling Moroccan style wallpaper that adds texture and visual interest.

Got me to researching the wallpaper and realized it was Phillip Jeffries.  I love their wallcoverings…the printed as shown here and the textured natural grasscloth and raffia wallpapers as well.

The wallpaper is sold to the trade only I think and it probably runs anywhere from $60 per yard and up for these printed patterns…but well worth it I think!

My favorite Phillip Jeffries printed wallpapers clockwise from top left – Moroccan; Chain Link; Rings; Circles. (above)

What do you think of these wallpaper prints? Where might you put in your home? Do you have a fear of wallpaper or would you take a leap?

Happy Friday!

P.S. Submitted a project for a friend of mind to Architectural Digest editor-in-chief Margaret Russell. Waiting to hear back. It is the home of one of my good friends. Have been holding my breath now for a few weeks and still hoping. Wish us some luck please! It is such a beautiful home.  How long does it usually take for an editor to respond?  I’m new to all of this.  Any words of wisdom?  Well we’ll see…either way, it has been fun getting stuff together for the submission and hoping for the best! 🙂

P.P.S. Have a great weekend!

P.P.P.S.  Remember to following along on COCOCOZY Pinterest.  Just found some fab mosaic tiles that I’ve added to my boards!

♥ love love love ♥ all of them. We have the same taste. I think you’re great, by the way, Coco. Don’t ever regret you’re slight change in career paths. I think it was a very wise choice.

I’m a retired court stenographer. After 20 years as an official for a New York Supreme Court Judge, I think I can safely say with years of experience, that what you’re doing now is much more fun, much more rewarding and at the end of day, will prove much better for your health.

These are fantastic. Normally, I only go for his grasscloths but I’d love one of these patterns in my powder room!

Heidi Caillier Design took this historic San Francisco home and layered floral wallpaper, striped drapery, checked linens, and antique textiles room after room without a single one feeling overdone. Marble mantels, gilt mirrors, brass fixtures, and warm wood floors do the quiet work of holding it all together.
This is what happens when “more” is chosen on purpose.

A great bathroom isn’t just functional, it’s the one room in the house that’s entirely yours. The stone you choose, the way light hits the fixtures, the tub you actually want to sit in. These are the ones that get it exactly right.

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸 Here’s a little throwback toHappy Labor Day! 🇺🇸
Here’s a little throwback to a Labor Day dinner party I hosted a few years ago, and honestly, we’d still do it this way. 🥂✨
Hosting this Labor Day? Keep it simple:
• Set the table with one statement detail + neutral basics
• Choose a menu you can prep ahead so you’re not cooking all night
• Add candles or flowers to make the table feel special
• Serve everything family-style for a more relaxed feel
• Don’t overthink it. The best dinners are the ones where everyone lingers a little longer 🤍
Save this for your next dinner party and send it to someone who’s hosting! 🍽️

The rooms that get it right pair it with something unexpected: a dramatic mural, an antique screen, a city skyline, a hand-laid mosaic floor.
