Self-Care At Home With These Dreamy Bathrooms

February 26, 2020
  • Share

Self Care at home is one of the best things! What’s even better is dreaming up what self care rituals match with extraordinary bathrooms. Today we are exploring 5 different bathrooms designs and exploring 5 different self care routines. Get ready to take notes – because even if your bathroom isn’t as luxe as these – you can still have an ultra-luxurious self care moment at home!

This bathroom is so sleek and serene. I love the floor to ceiling subway tiles. The addition of rose gold/brass hardware looks incredible next to the blue floors. Speaking of the floors – I love the choice of a colored tile pattern. Best of all that tub! I can only imagine what it’s like soaking in there in the morning underneath that skylight.

Robe, Bath Tray, Shower Gel, Book, Bath Soak, Candle

Even if you don’t have the stunning bathroom above – it doesn’t mean you can’t relax and get inspired like it is your bathtub! Cozy up in a fleece bathrobe and read by candlelight. But don’t forget to add in a scrumptious shower gel and coconut bath soak. After this experience, you will be relaxed and ready to go!

A moodier bathroom that merges relaxation with a sultry feeling. That freestanding tub is amazing. Not to mention the combination of the artwork and window covering creates a mysterious color palette. What a perfect place to relax after a long day for some self-care with a glass of wine.

Robe, Scrub, Bath Salts, Mask, Bath Oil, Candle

Match the sultry bathroom feeling with a dark burgundy silky robe and relaxing items. Unwind with a bath filled with soaking salts and bath oil in candlelight. But don’t stop there add in a luxurious face mask and a heavenly body scrub and you will be recharged in no time.

This luxe bathroom packs a punch with floor to ceiling tiles in shades of blue. I love the pops of gold + yellow and the addition of the colorful patterned rug. Whoever owns this home is not afraid of bold design. That marble sink and light fixture are amazing.

Robe, Mask, Eye Cream, Serum, Face Oil, Cleanser, Face Roller, Candle

Overworked and in need of a pick me up? Have a skincare day and give your face some much-needed love. Feel expensive in a crisp and bright white robe while a luxurious candle is burning. Spoil yourself. Start with a cleanser, followed by a mask, then jump in with the face oil and roller. After that apply your favorite serum and silky smooth eye cream.

Meet an ultra-sophisticated and glam bathroom built to impress. The light and bright nature make this bathroom glow. The black and gold wallpaper adds a beautiful accent without overpowering the space. I love the accents of gold and pink!

Robe, Moisturizer, Mask, Hand Lotion, Body Lotion, Hair Mask, Lip Treatment, Candle

Winter got you down? Time for a deep hydration self care day! A blush robe and candle set the mood while you pamper yourself with extra moisture for your whole body. Start with a mask and bath followed by a hair mask. Then it’s time for body lotion, face lotion, hand cream, and a much needed lip treatment.

Now we are looking at a gorgeous monochrome bathroom mixed with some warm wood tones. I’m drooling over those two rectangular mirrors and white + black tiles. Plus there are dual sinks that coincide with the mirrors perfectly. The texture on the vanity is the perfect tie in to the tile pattern.

Robe, Shampoo, Conditioner, Styling Treatment, Hand Creme, Argan Oil, Hair Mask, Candle

Been neglecting your mane? Nows the best time to give it the love it deserves. Get fancy in a long black robe and light a candle. Wash and condition your hair with a luxe duo then follow it up with an ultra-rich hair mask. After that run some argan oil through your ends and top with some styling creme through the entire length of your hair. If you are feeling extra fancy apply some chic hand cream.

Keep it simple. No need for bells and whistles an Keep it simple. No need for bells and whistles and fancy things to make your house a home. In this picture, a plant, two chairs I found at the flea market, a layered rug situation and some modern art...de-cluttered space can be equally as inviting as one filled with memories and treasures. If you are stuck with how to decorate, I say keep it simple. Purge and start with the basics. Full disclosure, this is a shot of my living room from a few years ago when I first moved in...I didn’t even have drapes up when this was taken. I have since added pieces and changed out furniture and added a 2nd sofa...but it started super simple and it was lovely back then. When the world is swirling around us and making no sense, how are you keeping things simple at home? #socococozy #bringstylehome #cococozy
Pre-pandemic throw back photo to where I was last Pre-pandemic throw back photo to where I was last year. Clueless as to what was to come. Was in Paris, with my mom, enjoying her summer apartment in the middle of the 6th arrondissement. I had just left the U.K. visiting friends for a few days in London and the Cotswolds. None of us knew that this summer 2020 would be so different. Today, I can only hope this time of tumult and great divides leads somehow to a future of calm and harmony. Going backwards in time is not an option. Pushing forward is. Happy Sunday to you. Where were you last summer? Where do you imagine you’ll be next? Xoxo #socococozy #bringstylehome
Incredible living room before and after as designe Incredible living room before and after as designed by my good friend Steve Jones @bettershelter! I went on a tour today. I also went on a tour a year ago when he first got the house. See my stories. Swipe to see what this room looked like before. Life lesson from a room transformation: When faced with the daunting and not so pretty, look to do the work, and you can make changes to bring out what is good. Right? This home by the way is going on the market soon and is in one of my favorite parts of town, View Park. What changes have you made lately that have turned bad into good? #socococozy #bringstylehome #remodeling #homerenovation #californiadreaming
“Be patient with yourself it has been a funky fe “Be patient with yourself it has been a funky few months in the world.” My friend Manon texted this advice to me today. She is right. A little patience and a lot of kindness to yourself and to others during these unusual times will go a long way.

Am in my living room right now looking at these pretty flowers in that white urn I found lying around. The urn works (see Flower Power highlights for backstory). Thinking on who I might send one of these bouquets to today as a little act of kindness. Still working on the patience piece of her advice! 🤪 Who might you send flowers to? How can you be more patient with yourself? Happy Saturday!
