Southampton Estate – Multi-Million Dollar House Tour

August 22, 2016

southampton estate property

Bright interiors, beachfront property, Hamptons zip code, and for sale N O W! Stumbled on this Southampton estate on my low-key Sunday afternoon and Had to share. BFF AM has a home in the Hamptons which I love and will visit for as many years as she let’s me claim that adorable guest bedroom…but if I’m ever in a place to buy my own home in the Hamptons, this one wouldn’t be a bad option right? You know it’s bad when Sotheby’s won’t even list the price…they just say ‘Price on Request’ and you know that’s code for ‘Let’s see how high we can get someone to bid’.

Here’s what Sotheby’s had to say about this 22,000 sq. ft., nearly 4 acre estate:

Regarded by many as the finest oceanfront estate in all of the Hamptons, the iconic “La Dune,” with links to architect Stanford White offers two extraordinary residences on almost four acres, with over 400 ft. of bulkhead beach front, gorgeous hedged lawns, two custom Gunite pools, and sunken all-weather tennis on Gin Lane. Security gates and hedging open to a wide gravel drive, with the main four-story residence rising majestically from its front parking court. Constructed in the early 1900s, the classic shingle-sided presides over rosa rugosa dunes that slope down to the wide sandy beach. A ground floor, brick-floor entry hall with full bath opens the main residence, and a grand staircase rises to the main level with great, living, sun, formal dining, and morning rooms, family kitchen with fireplace, and a sitting room with powder room. The third level features the master wing with sitting room, two over-sized baths, and large dressing room/closet. The top level includes four bedrooms and three baths. Located back at ground level, are a full service kitchen, gym area, laundry facility, and staff suite. The guest residence opens with a long entry hall, off of which are a parlor, great room, and dining room that all open onto a covered deck. Opposite is a library with bath, kitchen, and a guest/staff wing with powder room and two bedroom suites. The second story features four generous guest suites, and the finished lower level includes a billiards and bar room, a gym with steam, sauna and massage room, theater, additional staff suites and laundry. The extensive grounds include two covered pavilions at either end, two swimming pools, and a tennis court.

This 300m² Haussmannian duplex in central Paris wa This 300m² Haussmannian duplex in central Paris was designed to function as both a home and a gallery and the distinction between the two is impossible to find.
Every room treats art and objects with the same weight as furniture, nothing is decorative for its own sake, everything is placed with intention.
The Haussmannian bones, ornate cornicing, herringbone parquet, original stained glass ceiling, stay intact throughout. Natural and handcrafted materials do the rest.

This new collection feels like such a beautiful evolution. Inspired by their Manhattan Flower District showroom, it brings together the romance of classic decorative arts with a fresh, modern perspective in a way that feels bold, artistic, and incredibly thoughtful.
If you are attending ICFF 2026, make sure to stop by Booth W1048 and experience Petal Promenade in person. Congratulations, Kristi and Wendy. This collection is truly something special. ✨
Ever wondered what it feels like to have the Eiffe Ever wondered what it feels like to have the Eiffel Tower as your view? These 7 Paris spaces answer that — some hotel suites, some private residences, and each one framing it completely differently. 🫶
A gilded suite where it peers through silk drapes. A terrace set for breakfast with the Tower straight ahead. Contemporary apartments where open French doors bring it almost into the room. Classic Haussmannian grandeur on one end, sculptural modern interiors on the other; same iconic backdrop, seven entirely different ways to live with it.

This Haussmannian apartment sits directly facing N This Haussmannian apartment sits directly facing Notre-Dame on the Left Bank, and @double_g_interior_design designed the interior to match that setting without competing with it. ✨
The approach was deliberate restraint: restored cornices kept intact, stained oak floors, limestone tones, a mix of vintage furniture and contemporary silhouettes. Every choice earning its place. The light does the rest. Bouncing off mirrors, moving through the neutral walls across the day. 🔅
→ Save this if you’re working with a Haussmannian space and want to let the architecture lead.

That level of control is what makes the result so specific. Rich materials, sculptural forms, cinematic lighting but nothing feels decorative for its own sake. Every detail was considered as part of one complete vision, and you feel it in every room. ✨
