Style Destination: Spring Dresses For Every Style

March 29, 2021

Spring is here, and I for one am ready to invest in a handful of great spring dresses. There is just something about the fresh air on the first spring day, I know living in Los Angeles it is nice year-round but as the days grow longer my craving for spring is abundant! While I was scrolling through to find some interior inspiration I found this mesmerizing image of a country lane and knew it would inspire incredible style. I can just imagine a leisurely stroll down this road in the late afternoon and into the golden hour.

For all the fashion lovers out there, I will be covering spring dresses perfect for a walk down this road or really, any spring occasion. We will explore neutral, colorful, and patterned spring styles. I hope you love these selects as much as I do!

Is there anything more darling than a crisp white or beige midi dress? Imagine how these styles would pop against the lush green tones in the country lane. The first style is a great balance between casual and chic. The tiered skirt gives a nice touch of detail. The second style takes it up a notch with a gorgeous v-neck and more volume throughout the skirt and sleeves. The third dress is a brilliant combo of style and a relaxed coolness. The longer sleeves and slit make this dress stand out. The fourth dress may be the dressiest of them all and demands attention. The ruffle/pleated neckline is really a statement on this dress.

Next up we have an assortment of patterned dresses. These styles really catch my eye with the added details, textures, and use of color. First up is a gorgeous yellow floral print dress. This style is casual in the best way. The second is a dressier style. I personally am a huge fan of this dress. The sleeves, neckline, waist, and pattern work together to create an eyecatching style. Up next is a beautifully textured teal dress. The sleeves on this dress add the perfect amount of personality to this dress. Lastly, we have a bright patterned dress. This style is a bit louder than the others in the best way. The pops of color make this style stand out.

For our last set of dresses, we have stunning colorful dresses perfect for spring. First up is a lovely light green midi dress. The scoop neck on this dress is a lovely detail that gives this dress a feminine feeling. Next up is a soft blue dress with an empire waistline. I love the v-neck and the flowy skirt. Third, we have a gorgeous blush/salmon-colored dress. The subtle pleating across the bodice of this dress is an incredible touch. Lastly, we have a light pink dress with a stunning tie waist. The subtle slit also adds a layer of flair.

I hope you loved these spring dresses as much as I do.

Want a bedroom that feels cozy, warm, and invitingWant a bedroom that feels cozy, warm, and inviting? Start with these simple changes:
1. Layer your bedding. Mix sheets, a duvet, quilts, and throw blankets to create that plush, lived-in look.
2. Add warm lighting. Swap harsh overhead lighting for bedside lamps, sconces, or a statement light with a warm glow.
3. Bring in plenty of texture. Think linen, velvet, boucle, chunky knits, and soft rugs.
4. Keep the palette warm and calming. Soft neutrals, earthy tones, and muted colors instantly make a room feel more restful.
5. Mix in natural materials. Wood, rattan, woven accents, and stone add warmth and character.
6. Make the walls feel personal. Art, photographs, or even a statement headboard can make the room feel more finished.
7. Add something organic. A vase of branches, fresh flowers, or a little greenery can bring the room to life.
The goal isn’t to make your bedroom perfect. It’s to make it feel like a place you actually want to retreat to at the end of the day.
Save this for your next bedroom refresh. 🤎

The right chandelier doesn’t just light a room, it becomes the room. Scale, material, placement. When it’s done right, everything else arranges itself around it.

Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive.Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive. 🌸
One thing I’ve learned is that every outdoor space needs a focal point. It gives your eye a place to land and makes the whole space feel more intentional.
In this courtyard, the bougainvillea naturally becomes that focal point, adding color, height, and movement without overwhelming the space.
If you’re designing your own patio or garden, start with one standout feature, then let everything else support it.
Save this tip for your next outdoor project. ✨

Design by @covetnoir. A 1750 Georgian home in Surr Design by @covetnoir. A 1750 Georgian home in Surrey, restored back to its former grandeur.
Grade II listed and stripped of most of its original character by previous owners, this 9,000 sqft home with seven bedrooms, and five bathrooms was brought back to life for a French-Swedish couple raising two young kids here. The brief: Parisian luxe with a Scandinavian twist, and a design calm enough to keep the grand proportions feeling intimate.
Covet Noir rebuilt what had been lost: full plasterwork, raised & fielded panels, a bespoke decorative ceiling, and added a cantilevered limestone staircase with Nero Marquina cabochon inlay in the entrance hall. The material palette leans into marble and alabaster, softened with boucle and brushed cottons, chosen to hold up to two kids and two dogs without losing the elegance. Antique furniture and architectural fittings were sourced throughout to keep the project sustainable, alongside ground source heating.
Grand bones, calm hand. This is the kind of restoration we could look at all day. 🤍

A — Warm wood beams and stone

A great vaulted ceiling doesn’t just add height. It changes how a room feels entirely. The best ones make you stop, look up, and never want to leave.
