Stylish Summer Dinner Party in 5 Minutes or Less

I’m sure I’m not the only person who has to throw together last minute summer dinner parties. Due to my busy schedule, I don’t have the time to run around Beverly Hills to shop for table decor. As much as I would love to find intricate pieces and fun accessories, it’s not always realistic. I decided to challenge myself to see if I can throw together a stylish summer dinner party in 5 minutes or less. And guess what? I did it! Yes, it’s actually doable.

My best advice is to order everything from one store. That way it’s easy to pull items from one location. I ordered many cute and affordable items from Walmart Home’s citrus summer collection. The yellow pillows, lemon pattered table cloth, and pops of aquafrom the plates are the perfect combination. The key to creating a perfect tablescape is all about balance. The finishing touch was the bowl of fruit to tie in the yellow from the table cloth.

I adore the way this table came together. It’s so simple and colorful. The aqua plates go so well with the seat cushions that I had made for my vintage outdoor dining chairs. I wish I could have said it was planned but it wasn’t. Anyway I can throw in a pop of aqua I will! Walmart Home has a great selection of table decor and accessories. I received my package two days after I placed the order, which happened to be on the day of my dinner party. The 5 minute challenge worked out well and I might have to do it again.
