$14 MILLION DOLLAR NYC PENTHOUSE RIHANNA VIEWED

Singer Rihanna allegedly shopped this multi million dollar NYC apartment! (above)

So when I was in New York a few weeks ago, I was staying with best of friend AM in the very nice Soho building where she and her family live. During my 5 day NYC visit, I heard word that singing superstar Rihanna had supposedly been in the building looking at the multi million dollar penthouse on the top floor!

Riri, as she is commonly known, apparently shopped this $14.6 million dollar, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 4,660 square foot modern duplex with a bit of an entourage in tow in late August.  The two story apartment also includes a 2400 square foot terrace!  The home is listed by Town Real Estate.

I wonder if Rihanna is taking it or leaving it…the apartment is still on the market as of today?  So if you have $14 million laying around…you could snatch it up and make it your own?!?

Do you think an apartment like this is fitting for a superstar?  If you are a Rihanna fan (which I am), do you see her living in these posh ultra modern digs?

Happy Tuesday!

P.S. Thank you so much for all of the nice comments and helpful advice on my cottage living room yesterday.  Very good design insights.  I may make a few adjustments based on your comments!  A lot of you asked about the artwork…I will share with you more on the piece and artist later today or tomorrow!

P.P.S.  Fall Fashion Splurge Part 3 – In an abbreviated version of the Fall Fashion Splurge segment, just wanted to tell you that best of friend AM turned me onto this adorable cute quilted leather jacket. It or some kind of quilted leather is being added to my fall wish list most definitely.  Thank you AM!

P.P.P.S.  Headed to South Carolina for a black tie wedding later this month.  Best of friend FF had me invited…it is a family wedding.  Dear friend JH is also going as is FF’s good friend FM.  I can’t wait to see all of the girls.  I have no idea what I am going to wear…long or short dress.  The weekend is going to be filled with events…let the fashion stress begin!  #firstworldproblem.

I like the condo, but it seems so plain for a star like Rihanna (I like her too).I’m not sure where I see the 14 million in this condo?

Can’t wait to see what you decided in your L.R.

Oh Yes, perfect for Riri and her entourage. It looks like there is room for another entire seating area!

    Have fun Coco

I assume she would hire a decorator and that she is just checking out the bones as they say.

Want a bedroom that feels cozy, warm, and invitingWant a bedroom that feels cozy, warm, and inviting? Start with these simple changes:
1. Layer your bedding. Mix sheets, a duvet, quilts, and throw blankets to create that plush, lived-in look.
2. Add warm lighting. Swap harsh overhead lighting for bedside lamps, sconces, or a statement light with a warm glow.
3. Bring in plenty of texture. Think linen, velvet, boucle, chunky knits, and soft rugs.
4. Keep the palette warm and calming. Soft neutrals, earthy tones, and muted colors instantly make a room feel more restful.
5. Mix in natural materials. Wood, rattan, woven accents, and stone add warmth and character.
6. Make the walls feel personal. Art, photographs, or even a statement headboard can make the room feel more finished.
7. Add something organic. A vase of branches, fresh flowers, or a little greenery can bring the room to life.
The goal isn’t to make your bedroom perfect. It’s to make it feel like a place you actually want to retreat to at the end of the day.
Save this for your next bedroom refresh. 🤎

The right chandelier doesn’t just light a room, it becomes the room. Scale, material, placement. When it’s done right, everything else arranges itself around it.

Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive.Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive. 🌸
One thing I’ve learned is that every outdoor space needs a focal point. It gives your eye a place to land and makes the whole space feel more intentional.
In this courtyard, the bougainvillea naturally becomes that focal point, adding color, height, and movement without overwhelming the space.
If you’re designing your own patio or garden, start with one standout feature, then let everything else support it.
Save this tip for your next outdoor project. ✨

But not every season is meant to be productive. Some are meant to restore you. Some are meant to reshape you. And some are quietly preparing you for what’s next.
Trust the timing of your own journey.
One day, you’ll look back and realize that even the slowest seasons were moving you forward. 🤍
