The Essentials: 18 Items I Would Put in this Hollywood Hills Bathroom

April 11, 2022
  • Share

Have you ever wondered what a master bathroom in Hollywood Hills looks like? Every now and then I tour open houses. I haven’t visited any open houses in a while due to the pandemic. And I’m not necessarily looking to buy a new home, but I do love seeing what’s on the current market. It’s a good way to get interior design inspiration. This modern home was located in the Hollywood Hills. It was on sale for $4 million. I want to highlight the primary bathroom. I thought it was worth the share. Take a look below for a tour of the bathroom.

Black Herringbone tile with gold fixtures.

Most open houses remove clutter and decor. The idea is to keep open houses very minimal. Realtors believe it increases the chances of a sale because potential buyers can imagine what their stuff will look like in the home they’re touring. So while I was touring this home, I started to imagine how I would style this bathroom. That led me to an idea for a blog post. Below you will find items that I would add to this bathroom to give it a COCOCOZY twist.

Black countertops with gold faucets. A long mirror that’s the length of the vanity hangs on the wall. The dark cabinetry compliments the black herringbone tile from the shower. The designers wanted the bathroom to be bright and open.

The vanity is very minimal. They kept the color palette very neutral and clean.

I’m curious to know what you think of this bathroom. I love the contrast between the black tile and gold fixtures. And having a tub positioned next to two large windows is perfect for relaxation. However, I didn’t check to see if you can see inside if you’re standing in the backyard. I’m assuming the windows are tinted or that will be awkward LOL.

It’s Monday which means the new weekly sales list is here. Check out Chirpyest’s sales and promos here.

A thoughtfully styled tablescape can:
• Make guests feel instantly welcome.
• Encourage people to linger a little longer.
• Turn an ordinary meal into a memorable experience.
• Reflect your personal style without saying a word.
The best part? It doesn’t have to be elaborate. A few layers, fresh flowers, candlelight, or beautiful dinnerware can completely change the atmosphere. 💐
Because the most memorable gatherings aren’t always the fanciest. They’re the ones where everyone feels at home.

A great vaulted ceiling doesn’t just add height. It changes how a room feels entirely. The best ones make you stop, look up, and never want to leave.

Does this improve the room’s function?
Does it create a better focal point?
Does it make the space easier to walk through?
If the answer is “no” to all three, maybe it’s just the rearranging itch talking. 😅

This is what happens when a home is built by people who actually know the place. 🖤

Black is not a bold choice. It’s a neutral, and one of the most versatile ones in design.
The rooms that get it right treat black the same way others treat white or greige: as a foundation that lets everything else breathe. The texture of the wall. The warmth of the wood. The drama of the marble. Black doesn’t compete, it amplifies.
