THIS OR THAT: MOSAIC TILE BATHROOM FLOORS!

February 8, 2012
  • Share
Bathroom with a black lacquer door, mosaic tile floor, and chrome sink

As you might know if you read this blog regularly, I love a great mosaic tile floor. Adding a bit of texture and interest to a floor is such an wonderful design touch!

Love these three bathrooms with their delightful floors!

Which of these baths do you like best?

Bathroom with subway tile walls, floral mosaic tile floor, step in tub and white cabinets with chrome drawer pulls

Bathroom with stand alone porcelain tub, marble floor, carpet mosaic tile and a black decahedron pendant light

I like the first bath the best…but I like the floor in the second picture the most.

Which do you favor?

Do tell!

Happy Wednesday!

I’m loving the first option the best! Although I do adore the bordered element to the floor of the third image.

Ooh…I have such a weak spot for pattern floors! Love all three (of course!), but if I HAVE to pic a fav, I’ll lean to #1. I love the graphic trellis work style of the tile!

I love the floor of the first one best. Wish I could see a better picture of the pattern…have any other images to share?

Beautiful bathrooms. I especially like the first one. It’s so glamorous, I love how the black in the pattern floor is echoed in the glossy black door and the architectural print.

I like the second one overall because it’s so different, but I do like the first floor too.

The first bathroom is simply stunning. Washstands are just so elegant, love them in powderrooms where you don’t mind losing some storage space. I do love the patterned tile floor in the second photo, very fresh and lively, but like most of the other commenters, bathroom #1 is #1 for me!

I like the first one as well.

I also find it’s a lot of fun when the mosiac get’s pulled up into the wall proper – do you know what I mean? the design just continues and encompasses the whole room – it’s magical.

Living in NYC, most of the apartments I have rented have been pre-war. Because of this, ALL of the bathrooms have Black & White tiles, in various styles. Even though the tubs are usually pretty small, and the kitchens even small, one of my favorite BUILTINS about NYC are those mosaic bathroom tiles!

First one is my favorite!! Coco could you please let me know if you know the supplier of the mosaic floor in the first image? That would be great as I love it!

    Thanks!

My backyard. Literally! A little piece of paradise My backyard. Literally! A little piece of paradise at home.✨🌷 This view is right outside my bedroom window - the house has a beautiful hillside of greenery instead of a traditional yard. I love this view. Whenever people come over they ask if the hillside is part of the property and I say yes. Even though I know how beautiful the view is and I love that I wake up to a wall of green outside the window at the foot of my bed, I rarely walk on the winding path on the hill. I never noticed how majestic the scale of the hillside was until until I saw my goddaughter Chloe walking around outside the other day! Here’s a reminder to find the beauty even in your backyard.
