Is a bathroom sink cabinet the place to add a little design flair to a home? I say why not.
Here are two bath sink cabinets…both have mirrored sink cabinets. One is more classic, the other modern. When taking a design risk…do you try for a traditional interpretation or more contemporary?
Take a look at these two bathroom sinks and you decide in today’s THIS OR THAT!
So which of these two bathroom sinks do you prefer and why? Or do you dislike both? I’m thinking I like the second one best. I want to know what you think!
Happy Tuesday!

P.S. Had fun drinks last night with HW at The Churchill, a newer restaurant, here in Los Angeles. It was so fun to catch up.
P.P.S. So I dropped my phone the other day and the screen cracked. When I called to get a new one…I learned that I had been paying monthly phone insurance of $6.99/mo for the last year that covered a damaged phone. I thought “Score!…My phone is covered”. Well I later found out that the “phone insurance” requires a deductible of $199! Oy vey. Needless to say, I’ll be walking around with a cracked Blackberry until the end of May when I’m allowed to get a new one! Yoohooo…since when does phone insurance cost more than the phone itself! My luck.
P.P.P.S. Remember way back when, when I was looking for an assistant…well am still looking…so please send resumes to [email protected]. I can send you a job description if you are interested! Assistant must live in Los Angeles. Am also looking for a few interns too.
P.P.P.P.S. Have a great Tuesday!

I like the second one if you’re going with a clear mirror finish, it’s cleaner and simpler. However, if I were to do the first picture with the beveled edge detail, I would have preferred if it had an antique finish, just to make it more glam and girly. Good luck!
I love all things sleek and modern. For some reason I am partial to the traditional mirrored bath. The drawers add interest whereas the second looks like plain cabinet fronts that were mirrored. Susie
Loving the 2nd bathroom. The sleek and tall lines formed with using the mirror makes it amazing!
I LOVE BOTH OF THEM BUT THE THOUGHT OF STANDING NAKIE OR IN MY UNDIES IN FRONT OF A MIRRORED CABINET WHILE I DRESS- WELL, THE THOUGHT MAKES ME …UMMM…..PAUSE.
IT WOULD BE A FABULOUS STATEMENT IN A POWDER ROOM. (WHERE WE ALL STAY SUFFICIENTLY CLOTHED)
AND PHONE INSURANCE- WHAT A SCAM…. WE ARE SO “OWNED” BY THE PHONE COMPANIES NOW. HATE TO ADMIT IT, BUT TRUE.
I like the first one! but the practicality of keeping all those mirrored surfaces clean is daunting! Don’t know if I’d do it in a bathroom– even water splashes spot mirrors! Maybe for a powder room or one no one uses!

I prefer the second for clean lines that are both a bit more modern and bit easier to clean…from what it looks like.
I vote for the first! So pretty. Loving the wall treatment there as well.

I like them both! beautiful! especially like the second without hardware…
I like the first one because it is updated traditional. The second one is nice, but a bit too sterile for my taste. I like to see my pretty things around me.
Coco, I may know of someone for your assistant pos, I used to work with her and she studied interior design. Will msg you if she’s looking to make a move.
I passionately dislike bathroom vanities!!!!! As a choice I would go for No 1 but truly I think they are generally the most unattractive pieces of furniture in a house!
I like old fashioned pedestal sinks!!!!
I love mirrored furniture! I especially love the first image.
I like the first one for the beveled look and — most important — for the handles and pulls. The second probably has touch latches. Imagine the fingerprints.
Best…Victoria
no. 2 please! Just because it is more my style…more stream lined, clean lines…simple gorgeousness!
Happy Wednesday!
I kind of like them both but i wouldn’t opt for any in my house. I am a bit OCD when it comes to streaks, stains and fingerprints so mirrored cabinets would make my life a nightmare, I would be cleaning them all day long 🙂
Love the Glam style of the first bathroom – the details are there too- the inlaid floor, the simple pendant light, the apron toe kick. The second is beautiful in its own right – but misses the point of a mirrored glam bathroom. Think Sexy- not Sterile!!!
Mirrors can make any space luxurious…that’s why i love them!!!
