Came across this cute concept of a chalkboard kitchen island. So chalkboard painting walls and furniture is a trend that has been done time and time again. I like it still but it definitely is not something new. This idea of chalkboard paint on a kitchen island is new to me. I like it. Cute way to make the large space under the island functional. Also serves a dual purpose…this chalkboard could mask any inadvertent shoe scuff marks from those sitting at the counter. Like like like. Would wonder what kind of messages would be appropriate for under the counter? Ideas?
I really like the chalkboard kitchen island and the exposed brick walls in this cute apartment. Good modern look.
