11 Blue Checkered Things COCOCOZY

Okay it is official…summertime has me thinking about blue checkered things! I honestly don’t know if it’s the soothing color blue, the clean, crisp pattern, or the fact that it has amazing versatility…or if I’m just itching to do a little retail therapy (it may be that last one)…regardless, this pattern has been catching my eye everywhere I look, whether it is in the clothes I wear or the interiors I’m drawn to recently. It can be the backdrop in a kitchen nook, turned on its’ side as a lattice design for an eyelet dress, or upholstered on the coziest oversized chairs…it is fascinating to me that one pattern can look so good on so many subjects (The buttoned down shirt I’m wearing in the photo below is of course a J.Crew classic.)
