A 24,038 square foot, 11 bedroom, 17 bathroom home at 616 Nimes Road in Bel Air, California (a tony enclave of Los Angeles)…whoa! It is called the Liongate Estate – will assume the name is based on the two huge lion statues perched on either side of the front gate.
The house was originally designed by renowned architect Paul Williams but was recently redone and modernized. A huge palatial house with tennis court, pool and so much more. Who lives in a house like this?
The house as been on the market for about a month and half and is listed by Hilton & Hyland. Did a little internet snooping and it looks like the house was sold in 2010 for just over $12 million. It was renovated and added to and completed in 2013…and now it is on the market for a mere $65,000,000!
There are 7 fireplaces, a billiards room, a 12 seat theater, climate controlled wine room, glass elevator leading to a ballroom, professional gym and it goes on and on and on….
Anyway…take a look…
What do you think? Would you take it if given to you as a gift and this was the only place you could live for the rest of your life….or leave it…?
