It got me thinking…do we actually need them? While upper cabinets can be sleek and white, they take up valuable real estate in the kitchen.  This might not be a trend for design traditionalists to jump on. My first thought was “where do they keep their plates and glasses?” Interior designers are embracing this trend and creating kitchens that are just as open and inviting at eye level as the rest of the home.
