Here’s an idea for a weekend project!
I just spent last weekend redecorating my guest bedroom. I was in the mood for a quick refresh…nothing too crazy. I haven’t redecorated this room since before the pandemic. So I thought it was time for an easy guest bedroom makeover. And thanks to Boll & Branch, I was able to create the exact look that I wanted! This makeover doesn’t involve buying new furniture. So no need to start shopping for a bed, dresser, or nightstand (unless you feel like you need to). For this project, it was time to switch out the old bedding with something bright, airy, and luxurious. So keep reading to see what I did to refresh the bedroom. I hope it helps kick off your spring cleaning journey.

interiors The latest trend in kitchen design is to forego upper cabinets. While scrolling on Pinterest, I’ve seen so many different kitchen designs that do not include upper cabinets. It got me thinking…do we actually need them? While upper cabinets can be sleek and white, they take up valuable real estate in the kitchen. This might not be a trend for design traditionalists to jump on. My first thought was “where do they keep their plates and glasses?” Interior designers are embracing this trend and creating kitchens that are just as open and inviting at eye level as the rest of the home. Of course, removing upper cabinets means paring down kitchenware, but minimalist approaches like those of London designer, Kerri Lipsitz, can be super helpful! Learn about the benefits of having a kitchen with no upper cabinets.

interiors Now your average Brooklyn home tour. Every now and then a celebrity home makes me take a second look while scrolling through Instagram. Stranger Things star David Harbour, and British singer, Lily Allen, shared a tour of their Brooklyn townhouse. It’s a combination of New York charm with Italian glamour and traditional English designs. Every room incorporates unique vintage pieces and whimsical color schemes that most celebrity homes lack. It’s the complete opposite of the usual modern minimalist sanctuary we see all over social media. The standout of the Brooklyn home tour is the romantic kitchen design. Take a look below.
home January is the time that many people start looking for ways to refresh their homes and incorporate the latest interior design trends. One trend that is gaining popularity for 2023 is the idea that old is better than new. This trend celebrates the beauty and character of vintage and antique pieces, and encourages people to incorporate them into their modern spaces. Some creative ways include recycled stone and recovered furniture with vintage fabrics.
I discovered this small cozy kitchen in a 17th-century cottage that is featured above. The charming home is owned by Milli Proust, a floral designer in West Sussex. She wanted the country living experience. I love the kitchen design that features crafted cabinets from an old wardrobe left by previous owners. home Finding the perfect piece of art can be difficult, but a custom piece will make any wall stand out. Luckily, I’m friends with a very talented artist, Sarah Robarts. I was looking for something modern that still complements my COCOCOZY style. When I came across Sarah’s acrylic murals and artwork I knew I needed a piece for my dining area. There was an empty wall that needed something to give it a “wow” factor. Thanks to Sarah, now I feel like the room is complete. Learn more about Sarah’s artwork and her career.
