Lately, I have been guilty of dreaming of English Homes for Sale. Does anyone else enjoy browsing house listings and thinking about your life there? It can’t be just me! Years ago I thought I was going to move to London for a bit. I was between jobs and started the process. Before I got too far along in my plans a recruiter reached out here and I never ended up leaving. On a recent trip, I went outside of London and learned I would love to own a home in the English Countryside or suburbs one day.

When I ran across this rustic cabin makeover I knew I had to cover it! This New Hampshire cabin is completely off the grid. Alice Saunder knew immediately once she saw it that it was going to be hers. With the help of her boyfriend, they turned this bare-bones cabin into a sanctuary. It was no easy task. The cabin had no electricity, running water or even cell reception. The end result is simply amazing! It makes me want to go buy a rustic cabin right now.

One thing I love posting about is celebrity home tours. When I ran across a tour of Liv Tyler’s West Village Townhouse I knew I had to cover it! A look inside Liv Tyler’s whimsical and beautifully designed townhouse! This stunning townhouse was entirely redone and was a historical renovation. They did an amazing job at adding custom molding, woods floors, pocket doors and more! This house tour is so good that it inspired two other post ideas that are now on my list! 

This gorgeous colorful Spanish colonial home is located in Franklin Hills. It was designed by Reath Design! When I ran across this home tour I was immediately intrigued by how well this home does color. This home is full of bold color choices and prints. I didn’t think it was possible to create a home with so much going on but this house makes it look easy. It’s not my go-to style but it’s incredibly beautiful and brilliantly designed. The darker feel to the home is perfect for the fall season! 

Today is a stunning West Coast House Tour. There is nothing quite like a beachy neutral designed home. While I may never own one I could look at images of them all day. The owner of this breathtaking home is the owner of the natural skincare line Lesse. It’s very clear that the owners of this home embrace the neutral color palette in all aspects of life. If I could do a Paris Apartment Tour every week I would. I’m a huge fan of Parisian style. The clothing, the food, the architecture, the interiors – all of it just fascinates me. There’s just such an effortless beauty to the French way. That appreciation translates over to French Interiors. There’s such a unique combination of architecture, vintage, and modern. I’m a huge fan of the French brand Sézane that when I found images of her Paris Apartment I knew I would have to share! 

This Tudor House Tour is a spectacular home in LA. I love hearing about renovations and bringing old homes back to life which is exactly what happened to this home. The original idea was to re-do this home back to its original glory but after some work, a lot of structural issues came up. They got a bit more than they bargained for but were able to really customize this space to their needs. The final design turned out amazing!
