Fall Bathroom Decoration Ideas: From Rustic to Modern Styles

September 14, 2022
  • Share

There’s something about cozy fall decor that gets us excited for the new season. Retailers are pushing out new soft throw blankets and different styles of pillows. But what about fall bathroom decor? Everyone loves to focus on living room and kitchen accessories. Who doesn’t love a new rustic cutting board or chic pumpkin pillow? Instead, let’s discuss fall bathroom ideas. The best part is that most autumn accessories can work in your bathroom too!

1. Fall Storage & Organization

Bathrooms are a lot smaller than other rooms in your home. So that means your accessories need to have a purpose. Are they providing storage? Are they organizing your beauty products? Remove clutter from your counters and replace it with mason jars, wicker baskets, and drawers to store your fall beauty essentials. The wicker accents will bring a cozier vibe to your bathroom.

2. Pops of Fall Tones

An easy solution to introduce fall accents into your bathroom is by adding pops of autumn colors. Warm tones like oranges and browns are the go-to color palette for the coziest season of the year. By swapping out your linens with hues of browns and oranges can help give the room an autumn effect. You can even switch out your old vases and candles with something more seasonal.

3. Decor Inspired By Nature

Natural elements are always the right move to elevate your bathroom decor. The fall season is covered in vibrant leaves and so much greenery. So why not bring the outdoors indoors? Add a vase with large pampas grass. Or a vase full of branches and dried flowers. It will create a warm atmosphere in your bathroom.

An easy DIY hack is taking mason jars or clear vases and filming them with acorns, pine cones, berries, small pumpkins, or anything else that reminds you of fall. It’s a great way to dress up your bathroom sink.

4. Pumpkins & More Pumpkins

Pumpkins are a staple during the fall season. They’re decorative indoor and outside objects for the home. Tiny pumpkins are great for filling bowls, vases, and taking up counter space. Retailers are always figuring out ways to innovate pumpkin decorative objects. Find the perfect set of wooden pumpkins for a rustic look. Or style metallic pumpkins around your bathroom for a glamorous effect.

It is warmer here now, but these were the looks I It is warmer here now, but these were the looks I reached for in Paris when the days were still cold. ❄️
I remember building each outfit around a coat or a scarf, with comfortable shoes that could take me anywhere, knowing I would be out for hours just walking.
Nothing overthought, just pieces that felt right for the pace of the day.
What would be your OOTD for a cold day in Paris?
If you want to shop these looks, comment SHOP and I will send you the link.

It started with an invitation. I met @hugobesnier_ It started with an invitation. I met @hugobesnier_ , founder and designer of luxury furniture brand @hartisparis_ at a small gathering in the 7ème, near the Musée d’Orsay. I was there with my new friends, Scarlette and Sarah.
The apartment itself was incredible! Tall ceilings, terrazzo floors, right along the Seine, but what really stood out was the furniture.
Turns out, it was Hugo's exquisite work.
The pieces are designed around everyday gestures: sitting, leaning, resting, but interpreted in a way that feels elevated and intentional. There’s a balance of structure and softness, where architectural lines meet more organic textures and forms.
He invited me back the next day to see everything more clearly, outside of the party setting, and it completely changed how I experienced it. The pieces feel intentional and refined, with a strong focus on material and form.
Sharing a closer look at his work here.
My Paris dream life keeps happening again and again!
