People love John Derian. Those people adore all of his signature decoupage and the knick knacks he so artfully creates. I am not a huge decoupage fan hence I have not jumped onto the Derian bandwagon yet (I say yet because I’ve learned to never say never…) but hats off to Derian for so beautifully capturing the hearts and the minds of those who do love decoupage and the like. Now while I don’t love decoupage…I do love nice stationery.
Got these images in the email from Dempsey & Carroll (their nice p.r. person Liz sent these along) announcing that Mr. Derian has just released a stationery line with them(cards and lined envelope). $60 for a box of 10. I like these. They are cute. Good gift perhaps…start shopping early for the holidays (or is that crazy to start shopping in mid-October for the December holidays?…I typically shop the two days before the holidays so for me it would be a miracle if I actually thought of others in advance!).
Anyhooo I like this paper and would open to receiving or giving it as a gift!

I’m in the same camp and I’m not a huge fan of decoupage but I do love the statinery…particularly the frog set. It’s sublte and elegant but cute at the same time.
