Welcome to Villa Tranquilla in Palm Beach, Florida! This stunning Palm Beach Estate spans almost 11,000 square feet, complete with 8 bedrooms, 9 full bathrooms and oceanfront views from nearly every window. It is on the market for a measly $42.9 MILLION. The Spanish style architecture of this home speaks for itself. Really is just so exquisite…the herringbone floors, stone fireplaces, larger-than-life chandeliers, and marble kitchen are just a few of the statement details throughout this home that make it absolutely jaw-dropping!
From Sotheby’s Realty website:
“Enjoy spectacular views from this stunning landmarked oceanfront estate built in 1923 by architect Addison Mizner. Villa Tranquilla, located on prestigious South Ocean Boulevard in the Estate Section of Palm Beach, offers magnificent ocean views from almost every room as well as multiple terraces and balconies. Architect Jeffrey W. Smith, of Smith Architectural Group, restored the property over a 4 year thoughtful restoration. Smith combined the old-world charm of Mizner’s original design with the convenience of today’s lifestyle. The 15,721 +/- sq. ft. residence wraps around a center courtyard with a serene pool and green space perfect for entertaining. Overlooking the glass tiled pool is an outdoor loggia which connects the main house to the guest house. The exquisite gardens were designed by landscape architects Mario Nievera and Keith Williams of Nievera Williams Design. Nievera Williams created a manicured landscape with a minimal but effective use of plant material keeping the focus on the historic architecture and to showcase and not obstruct the incredible ocean views.”
Would you take or leave this $43 million dollar Palm Beach estate? I think I would take it for a year or two…then try to sell it for double!

one can only dream…thanks for this post!
Stunning! I especially love the kitchen!
What a spectacular place, we are sure that this is a dream house for thousands of people under the sun! We also like how big, airy and bright the interior is, it allows a lot of freedom and unleashes the imagination for amazing interior design ideas!
As an interior designer who has designed and decorated homes nearby, I would love the chance to get involved with the interior design of this beautiful home. The Tuscan design I did for a Boston client would be perfect. The home is located in Sailfish Point in Stuart Fl. The same client had me decorate their new home at Carnegie Abbey down near Newport last year.I could have it ready by Nov.2017.I am in Boston Philip Hugh Smith
