Penny Round Tiles

penny round tile bathrooms

Pinterest can just be the death of a productive day can’t it?? I mean really, one wrong click on a cute kitchen can send you down a trail that you may not return from and suddenly the sun has set and the dog hasn’t been fed and somehow you are still in a trance by the glow of the computer…anyone else agree? Well this most recent trail I think is one that you will appreciate because I know I certainly did…penny round tiles have become quite an interior design buzzword recently and for good cause…the tile is simple, modern, clean, and offers immediate style in a room, especially for a small space. These all white floor to ceiling penny round tile bathrooms are fabulous! I’m also finding that utilizing grey penny round tiles as the backsplash in a bright white kitchen is a great use of the tile for a small space…I’ll be adding these kitchens to our list of bright white favorites here.

It’s understated but so so memorable in a space…I love the tiles in bright white spaces but I have really think seeing the different color variations is fantastic as well. If you’re daring you could use the same color grout as the tile for a more matte, edgier look too…what do you think? Are we on board with the pennies?? (You know the Standard Grille in the Standard Hotel in NYC actually as a floor made out of real pennies…pretty amazing.)

I loved your comment about Pintrest It is sooo true. I will absent mindedly look at something on Pinterest before I go to bed at 11 pm and before I know it it is 3 or 4 am and I I usually get up at 5:45am and I am like “how am I going to function on one hour of sleep?” This happens a lot. It is addicting, in a good way! I love your blog.

A masterclass in contemporary wedding event designA masterclass in contemporary wedding event design, every detail feels intentional, layered, and deeply personal.
Designed by @bychenai, a prolific and talented London based wedding and events planner, this wedding is a study in thoughtful design and artful creative direction. We say well done Chenai!
Long tables arranged in a maze-like formation created a striking design, while still allowing 350 guests to move throughout the space. A rich brown and gold palette brought warmth and depth, paired with refined tabletops and lush floral centerpieces.
