Renovated Manhattan Townhouse Tour

April 15, 2021
  • Share

Today we are going on a renovated Manhattan townhouse tour. I have to tell you this home is full of surprising interior design choices. With classic style at heart, this townhouse uses color, pattern, and texture in unique ways making this interior something you have never seen before. I love how this home balances more neutral and classic rooms with bright and loud rooms. On to the images!

First up, in the feature image, we have an exterior shot of a sensational back patio garden. I’m love the brick exterior, steel windows, and the well curated potted lush garden and stone path. This looks like such a brilliant place to relax, unwind, and entertain. Can you imagine having some friends over for morning tea or afternoon cocktails here?  I can. 🙂

Next on the renovated Manhattan townhouse tour is the living room. This room stands out for its eclectic nature and bright pops of color. The hot pink armchair and ottoman are very interesting choices but they balance well with the white walls, grey couch, and wall of windows.

Next up we have another view of the living room from the other side. Now, this looks like a majorly cozy sitting situation. The wall of books and ladder adds such charm while the mirror and fireplace add a layer of sophistication. Then the pink ottoman, blue chair, and yellow/green pillows are what spice this room up and make it more eccentric.

Now we have an enviable breakfast nook with banquette seating. If anyone knows me, it’s that I love a good banquette seating moment and this one doesn’t disappoint. The loud green color balances well with the white wood and the darker wood accents throughout the room. And who could forget about the neon light? Such a focal point to tie this room together.

Next, the townhouse takes an interesting turn with this more classic and sophisticated series of rooms. It almost makes you wonder if it could possibly be the same house until you notice the bright colors and patterns in the rugs in both rooms.

On to the bedroom, this room is much more calm and peaceful with layers of white, cream, beige, and grey. This looks like a wonderful room to recharge in especially with that pop of hot pink thanks to the bench in front of the bed.

Lastly, we have a wonderful bathroom that screams luxury living. I’m a huge fan of the clawfoot tub and the wood and marble sink. This room feels so serene until you notice the faux fur rug and a disco ball that liven up this room.

A masterclass in contemporary wedding event designA masterclass in contemporary wedding event design, every detail feels intentional, layered, and deeply personal.
Designed by @bychenai, a prolific and talented London based wedding and events planner, this wedding is a study in thoughtful design and artful creative direction. We say well done Chenai!
Long tables arranged in a maze-like formation created a striking design, while still allowing 350 guests to move throughout the space. A rich brown and gold palette brought warmth and depth, paired with refined tabletops and lush floral centerpieces.
