Rustic Country Kitchen

Rustic Country Kitchen Stove Hood

I like this rustic country kitchen designed by Tara Mangini and Percy Bright of design firm Jersey Ice Cream Co. Just the right touches that make it a blend of country and rustic. The reclaimed wood looking open shelves, the farmhouse sink and cool stove with brass knobs, and the oven hood with a bit of rustic wood trim around the edges.

You can see what this rustic country kitchen looked like before below. It was rather drab and in need of an update.

As you may know, because I mention it a million times, my guy TE and are just about to move into the house we have been renovating for almost a year. Our Malibu home renovation projects is leaning towards the modern end of things…but we are adding a few rustic touches that will make it warm and inviting. Just because I’ll be living in a modern house doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a little country decor too!

Could you see adding some country rustic touches to your kitchen?

Well it is Friday early and TE and I are headed to Malibu before work to meet with our stone fabricator and the contractor to discuss our kitchen counters!  So excited.

Happy Friday!

This is so beautiful. That stove… I would do just about anything to own that. So pretty!

Holy home envy! How beautiful. I am a sucker for white stoves and that one is no exception! Absolutely stunning.

The kitchen is way better then the cookie cutter decor that it had before for sure! I love that tea kettle and mason jars hold all the things of my life! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Did you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-ÉlyséeDid you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-Élysées closes to traffic entirely?
No cars. Just people, walking straight down the center with the Arc de Triomphe ahead. Then I walked home over The Seine. It had just rained, and the sky was doing something extraordinary. And of course, the Eiffel Tower showed up right on cue.
Paris on a quiet Sunday is something else. 🖤

This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millo This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millory @felixmillory , is defined by two things: a tightly controlled material palette and a sculptural art collection that runs through every room without exception.
Travertine frames every doorway. Dark smoked oak covers the joinery and cabinetry. Grey marble runs across the kitchen counters and island. Within that framework, figurative sculptures on the shelves, a large totemic piece at the entrance, stone forms on the dining table, a large-format artwork in the kitchen. Every room has at least one object that demands your attention. 🗿
→ Save this if you’re designing around a sculpture collection.
